“Very intimate tour...best I've been to in a long time!”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

Not like most tours, this one lets you sit on the couch, grab a guitar off the wall and strum, etc., etc. Vance was an awesome tour guide who knows more about the family than your average guide...he's a life-long friend of the family. More like a "back-stage pass" than a museum tour...would highly recommend this tour to those visiting Nashville area. We took our kids...18, 14, and 9...and they all seemed to enjoy it very much. One more thing...if you thought log cabins were quaint little getaways...think again...try 27,000 sq/ft of living space...I now want a log home!!!

I love your decription on how the tour is more like a 'backstage pass'. That is exactly how we want our guest to feel. It is so nice to hear that your children enjoyed our tour. Thank you for taking the time to write us such a great review. We appreciate your business and spreading the word.

“See how the rich and famous live”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

Well worth the $20 entry fee, we thoroughly enjoyed this tour with our guide, Amy McMurtry. Remember that name as I'm sure she'll have her own star in Nashville some day. This log mansion was so beautiful and designed with such genius. The way they allow you to tour, you feel like you are an invited guest into Barbara Mandrell's home and that she'll be around just any minute to greet you personally.

“Awesomeness!”
Reviewed February 12, 2013

Definatley put this on your to do list during your Nashville visit! We so enjoyed every part of the tour! Our tour guide Steve Whitson was amazing! So down to earth, fun and funny! This guy can even sing and write music!....His singing was such an unexpected added bonus! We enjoyed all of the history with regard to Barbara Mandrel as well as the architecturer qualities of the house! And lets not forget the breathtaking landscaping on 136 acres! My husband enjoyed the view from every single room!

“Best Tour ever”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

Even though it is the off season we really enjoyed our trip to Fontanel. We had the best tour guide we have ever had. Thanks Amy McMurtry for making our tour so informative and fun at the same time. After hearing you sing I can't wait to hear your new CD. The mansion is unbelievable.
Don't miss this one.

“My favorite part of my Nashville visit!”
Reviewed February 10, 2013

I loved visiting this house/museum. This home that was built by Barbara Mandrel and her husband and is now owned by music producers and is set up almost like a museum. There is tons of music memorabilia and you can touch all of it. The house itself is outdated since it was built in the late 80's but it still is beautiful. The tour guides are awesome and they have talent too!
