I went on this tour last September with my Mom, a friend and her Mom. This was a highlight of our trip to Nashville for all of us. It was interesting, fun and relaxing. The home was amazing and felt like a home, not a museum. Our tour guide, Steven Whitson, made us feel like we were the only tour he has ever done even though I am sure he has done countless. As you can see from the other reviews, he sings during the tour, as well, and he has a wonderful voice...he even waltzed with my mom. If you enjoy spending time in a beautiful setting in a relaxed atmosphere, you will enjoy this tour. Also, we had pizza at the restaurant before the tour and it was excellent.

Thank you for your awesome review. It's so precious that Steven danced with your Mom. We have a lot of fun at Fontanel and it's so special when the guest join in on the fun. If you have a chance, go to Cafe Fontanella on Tripadvisor and give them a great review too! They do have the best pizza in town. Please come back and see us sometime.

My husband and I traveled out here on a Saturday afternoon. The cafe was awesome! Great atmosphere and food. We had a vegetable and italian calzone, which was a good portion, 2 7x3 inches calzones that were packed full of flavor for a good price. The amphitheatre was free to was around in during the day. Although 40 degrees and sunny at the time, there were many people walking the trail with their kids and dogs while some played frisbee golf.
I would certainly go back and visit the mansion next time.

It is so great that you came out and enjoyed the property at Fontanel. The cafe is great!!!! We consider ourselves a privately owned public park, so it brings us so much joy when people bring their dogs and hike our trails or come and play our disk golf course. Someone could even enjoy thier own picnic by the creek. Come see one of the amazing shows this summer in The Woods and next time we will see you at the Manson.

We could not believe our eyes because we were thinking of a typical 2,000 square foot family log cabin. But this one was a sight to behold!! In reality it was 12 times larger than we imagined with
unique features in every room. And it doesn't stop with just the home but also with the beautiful setting surrounding the home. You have to see it to believe it!! Also, be sure to have a meal
at the uniquely designed restaurant near the entrance to the mansion--you will be glad you did!!!!

It seems like you had a really great time when you visited Fontanel and Cafe Fontanella. It certainly is a beautiful place to visit. Try to make it out to one of our amazing shows this summer at The Woods. Also, the free hiking trails are so stunning. This place has something for everyone and we are so proud you decided to spend the day with us.
