Description: 417 Union is a place where great food drives an ongoing celebration of vibrant community and rich history. We serve classic American fare with an emphasis on Southern traditions. Like many of our favorite Southern cooks who came before us, we are inspired to build on this culinary foundation with new innovations every season. We are proud to bring a variety of fresh, high-quality food to the Nashville community, as we have for over ten years. We love to draw on the bounty of ingredients produced in Middle Tennessee, and we buy local whenever possible. Nashville bakery Provence provides all our sandwich breads, and our famous house blend coffee is fair trade and organic.

Went for lunch on a Wednesday afternoon. Atmosphere was unique and authentic. I ordered a Ruben and it was delicious. My husband ordered the Western Omelette because they serve breakfast ALL day. His bacon was thick and cooked well. His omelette was excellent! We didn't drink. However, it appeared that they had a large impressive selection of craft beers. Our server attentive and knowledgable. Would definitely return! Bathrooms were clean which is always a plus. After lunch out server invited us to take a tour of the upstairs. It is made to have a Civil War era feel. Glad we decided to take the tour. It was interesting and impressive. Would recommend to anyone!

We went here for brunch with friends on Valentine's Day. Adorable little restaurant, great, clean atmosphere. The service was good and it's a bit off the Broadway so it wasn't too crowded. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and was disappointed when I got a small remikin of gravy and one small buscuit. Gravy was pretty bland, but not bad. I got a mimosa as well and it was good and a nice portion, however, quite pricey! Everyone else in my party agreed their food was nothing out of this world but then again we all ordered pretty standard breakfast items.

Was recommended by the hotel shuttle driver. Went for a late breakfast which happens to be served all day. The decor is 1940's with a lot of WWII memorabilia. The breakfast was great, the service friendly and prompt.

When I find myself back in town, I'll be returning for breakfast!

Interesting restaurant with a post-World War II theme. Loaded potato chips are awesome. Bar-B-Q sandwich is also great. Would definitely return when back in town.

We had a super breakfast here. In fact, i think it is one of the few breakfast spots in downtown (except for hotels). The food was excellently prepared and fresh. i had an authentic southern breakfast which included a boneless pork chop, biscuit and gravy. Others had omelets which they could not finish. The lunch and dinner menu looked equally as good. This is the kind of locally owned/operated establishment not to be missed. They had a full bar, but the food appears to be the centerpiece unlike most honkey-tonk places in Nashville. Go early for dinner as they are not a late night spot

Thank John H
