Needing some much needed exercise after feasting at several of Nashville's excellent restaurants, my daughter took me for an wonderful hike thru Percy Warner Park. What a very special place and just another wonderful part of what make Nashville such an appealing city. Ten minutes into our hike, we could have been on the Appalachian trail, as it was very peaceful, and not crowed at all, especially for a Saturday morning. The trails are well marked, and maintained and it is not too strenuous for us weekend warriors, Definitely worth a visit on your next trip, as this is a great picnic spot as well.

At Edwin Warner Park I like the way the trees are labeled so we can help the kids learn to identify them. The parks are well maintained and easy to hike.

Percy Warner is the vehicle friendly park, you can drive throughout. Edwin Warner is on south border and is pedestrian/hiker only. Great hiking trails though both. Fun activity shelters that can be rented by the day. Beautiful forest. Highly recommended!

So many people enjoying themselves. The ducks were having a good time too. Picnicking, walking, sitting quietly. Don't miss this place.
