We live down the street from these parks, and they are very much a part of our life and the life of the commnity. They are beautiful with lots of different play grounds for kids, hiking paths, and a great natural playgound near the nature center for kids. You see everyone here...it's our favorite place in town!

I live not too far from Edwin park and it is a great place to be lazy or active, whatever you are in the mood for.

I go every chance I get to just get out into the woods and look at the flora and fauna. I have seen deer and a lot of small animals as well as birds. The best time is in the spring.

The Warner Parks have been crown jewels in the Nashville Park System for decades. Great oasises in the middle of Davidson County.

I highly recommend the trails in Percy Warner to any runner, especially the 11.2 Main Drive Trail. Very challenging (lots and lots of hills with menacing names like 3 Mile Hill and 9 Mile Hill). This trail has been recognized in Runners' World in the past and it is easy to see why. I've included in the link a guide to the trail for runners.
