Having arrived from London , a little miffed that our luggage had been left in Detroit, we were soon smiling when we entered the Indigo. The reception staff who greeted us made us feel so welcome in Nashville, The decor is amazing and a real talking point, All the sights and bars/restaurants were within walking distance so we were out and about all day and every evening making the most of our stay in Nashville. We did hear some talented musicians in the evening at this hotel which gave some folks a break from the hustle and bustle in town. We booked to include breakfast which was a good move. The menu was fabulous and kept us full all day. A good start to the day and well worth the cost. All of the staff were friendly, a special mention to Jamal in reception who always made us smile and Jeremiah in the restaurant in the mornings who always had time for a chat . If we are in Nasville again, the hotel Indigo is where we will stay !

This was our first trip to Nashville and we were not sure the best place to stay, having been there now I would have chosen the Hilton near Broadway. The room we had was large but there is nowhere to put your clothes, we were traveling for 3 weeks and had to keep most of our clothes in our suitcase. The main problem started the first morning at breakfast, I had booked a room for 2 people, bed and breakfast and when we went for breakfast I was asked for our vouchers (we didn't have any), the waiter/bartender, John explained that we should have been given them at check-in and he would go and sort it out. He came back with 4 vouchers for our 4 nights but said it was only for one person, I explained that there were 2 of us and we had paid for breakfast for our stay. He went to get a manager who said that the booking was for one person for breakfast so my husband had to go to our room and get our copy of the reservation which clearly stated that the booking was for 2 people with breakfast, the manager said he would make sure we got other vouchers but was adamant that the breakfast was for 1. He made it feel like he was doing us a favour by giving us the vouchers! It was not a great start to our stay here and put a damper on things throughout our stay. The only helpful person in this hotel was John the waiter/bartender who was excellent throughout. The entertainment area is too far to walk unless your are really fit, I think it is about 8 blocks, we used taxis everyday to get about. I would definately not stay here again and could not recommend it due to the experience we had.

Thank you for your comments regarding your recent stay with us. I am glad that John gave you great service through out your stay. I sincerely apologize for the breakfast package voucher confusion. We always strive for top level customer service and we hate that we fell short in this instance. Thank you again for taking the time and allowing us to grow and learn as a team.

We stayed at the Indigo on Labor Day weekend. This is the 3rd trip to this hotel and we were surprised to see the place has had a complete make over. The lobby and restaraunt area are faboulous. The staff at the hotel were clean, courteous, and bent over backward to make sure our stay was the best it could be.

The location three blocks from Broadway provides a great location to visit all of the music venues. The hotel is easily accessible from the interstate.

The rooms are bright, large and very very comfortable. The shower in the room is worth the trip.

Room Tip: Ask for room on the upper floors the view is better.

This hotel has a great location for walking to the different points of interest in downtown Nashville. The staff was courteous and helpful. There were a different groups of entertainers every night in their lobby/restaurant/bar--very enjoyable and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed.

If you don't mind walking (6-8 blocks) to the action, this is a great place to stay. Boutique hotel was clean & very modern. Beautiful lobby, great staff, amazing room. Modern furnishings including stone floors, flat screen & Keurig. Only thing that was odd, was bathroom. Very awkward set up, no shower door, so bathroom did not hold steam (got cold during shower) & no where to hang bath towel (have to get out of shower to get or put on floor). But, this would not deter me from staying again!
