Very interesting because of all the old stores and the history of Nashville. A lo lot walking but well worth it. There are so many interesting things to do and see there.

It is exactly what you would expect. A music venue every where you look PLUS more boot stores and souvenir shops than ANY economy could support. If you look past the "kitsch," you will find music to enjoy from 10 AM until 2 AM. Gentle reminder - bands do not get paid much if anything at all so those Tip Jars mean the world to your entertainers. Make sure you have some $1s, $5s and $10s with you to show your appreciation ofr their talent and to help them earn their livelihood.

Besides music, there are museums a-plenty and many restaurants - some good and some not so good. Like any touristy area, do you research in advance and don't be afraid to want OFF OF Lower Broadway.

A few highlights include visiting the Goo Goo Shop - home of the Nashville-created Goo Goo Cluster candy bar. Across the street from the Goo Goo Shop is the Johnny Cash Museum - very well done and well worth a visit. The Ryman, The Tennessee State Museum (which is FREE but they welcome donations!) and so many other attractions throughout a large but definitely walkable/bikeable downtown area - a bit hilly but very doable. Enjoy a stroll on the pedestrian bridge over the Cumberland River. You will always find something new to explore in downtown Nashville.

There is so much to do Downtown, great selection of Restaurants, Shops and Live Music to choose from, most don't charge admission and don't have a cover charge either, you need to have I.D. and be over 21 in most Bars too

This place is amazing. Everyone seem to be very friendly and engaging. Although there are a few jerks there, it didn't stop the fun for us. The strip is so live and has different places to go have drinks and dance at. You can't come to Nashville unless you walk the strip.
