My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night on the town in Nashville before heading to Florida for vacation. The good: Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, bedding was clean and it was fine for some place to sleep for the night. We didn't have time to use the pool, but it looked clean and nice. Also, it was just a short drive to downtown Nashville.
The bad: The bed wasn't very comfortable; kinda sagged in the middle a bit. The more important thing though is that this area of town is NOT good! There were shady characters driving in and out, walking around and hanging out in the parking lot. However, the night manager was keeping an eye out and we saw him chasing off these suspicious characters more than once. I give him a lot of credit for trying to keep the riff-raff out of there! We also saw what looked like a drug bust or something going on just next door to the hotel - officers dressed all in black with their black SUV's with dark tinted windows, etc. rounding up several individuals. They only seem to come out at night though....when we left in the daytime, the place looked like any normal and nice hotel where you'd feel okay spending the night there.More
