Owner description: Free Admission If you love THE DUKES OF HAZZARD (And Americans of all ages do), you will love a visit to Cooter's Place. This is Nashville's one and only Dukes of Hazzard Museum and Shop, operated by none other than ol'Cooter himself. Ben Jones, who played the Duke Boy's stalwart sidekick, is your host at this tribute to Hazzard County. This expanded museum features Pictures, Props, Costumes, and Memorabilia from the beloved hit television show. Also displayed are Cooter's Tow Truck, Daisy's Jeep, Rosco's Patrol Car, and of course, a General Lee, the 1969 Dodge Charger which has achieved iconic status among fans of the show. Just keep your eyes peeled for Cooter's Tow Truck and the bright orange car with the Rebel flag on top and a big 01 on the door. YEEEHAAAA!

“A Blast!”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

For anyone who grew up with the "Duke Boys" like I did, you cannot go to Nashville and pass this place up (and Willie's museum right next door!). I couldn't believe how much old "1970's" stuff they had, and to see Daisy's Jeep, and Cooter's police car, and the General Lee.....SO FUN!

“Fun for 15 mins fill in”
Reviewed September 29, 2013

This is generally a souvenir shop with memoribilia in the back from Duke of Hazzard - was a good trip down memory lane for 15mins and was free but that was about it.
They charge you to get photos in the cars but didn't think it was worht it unless you are a big fan of the show.
Filled in 15 mins before lunch!

“I wouldn't make an extra trip”
Reviewed September 25, 2013 via mobile

My husband being a big Dukes fan was looking forward to this. It's basically a souvenir shop with a bunch of old Dukes Of Hazzard stuff in the back. Neat walk down memory lane but it all felt a bit "garage sale"-ish. Unless you're a HUGE fan, I'd skip it.

“Cooter was not in the building :-)”
Reviewed September 24, 2013

Souvenier shop. Period. Oh, a little Dukes of Hazzard stuff. For 9 bucks you can take pictures with your own camera in 4 'authentic' vehicles from the show. Uh, the doors on the General Lee didn't open...and I remember a roll cage... and... well you get it. Nice folks though.
