I honestly didn't know quite what to expect as I'd never stayed at a Hamptons hotel before, but the hotel was perfect for us. Our room (a double queen) was very fresh and well presented - it all looked really new - and really clean and well maintained. It looked like it should cost way more than it did. The room was also really quiet - we didn't hear other guests at all, no doors slamming etc - and the beds were really, really comfy. In fact, we missed those beds for the rest of our road trip!

The staff were really lovely - very friendly - they helped us out every time we needed any information or advice; they have printed directions to just about any attraction you could ask for, which was really helpful once we got a car. The breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful, and having the fitness room (which is teeny, but I only ever shared it once) and laundry was really helpful as we were there for almost a week.

The only downers for us were the pool area - it's clean and fairly big, but it's all concreted and the area doesn't get sun til after about 10.30 / 11.00 if you want to sunbathe - and the fact that our room had a microwave and kettle etc, but no cutlery or crockery, which seemed like a bit of an oversight. You do need a car if you stay here - there really isn't much you can walk to from here, food-wise or anything else, and taxis are really expensive - but that's really not the hotel's issue, we didn't research well enough! Once we booked a car, you're only minutes from a main connection...

We'd both highly recommend this hotel and if I'm back in Nashville, I'd definitely book again. Great value and good memories.

We had a perfect stay at this Hampton Inn, because the room was clean and cozy, the outdoor pool in perfect shape and the stuff extremely friendly. Especially the breakfast experience was great! Therefore we extended our stay for a day...
Some Tips: There was a shuttle bus going to the Opryland hotel - however, if you are with your family - better eat somewhere else first, as everything in the Opryland hotel is expensive and not necessarily with better quality (we bought an aweful Cappucino)... Nashville downtown is really nice - we ate a great steak at Demos!!!

We stayed here for our recent trip to Nashville, and we were very impressed with the quality of the service we received. The room was nicely decorated and very clean and up-to-date. There was coffee and tea available at any time which was a nice touch, and the hot breakfast was pretty good - and made even nicer by the nice lady who works there and goes around giving everyone a hug and some mints. The pool is outdoors, which was nice to use to cool off in the hot Tennesee weather. It was within walking distance of lots of activiities and restaurants, including the Gaylord hotel. The flood from last year has closed down some attractions like the nearby mall, but it was still a good area to stay.

This hotel is up to date on furnishings. We were here on a two week business trip and had a king sized suite. The entire hotel is "non smoking". There is a full breakfast bar in the lobby from 6 a.m. until 10 a.m. and meets the needs of almost everyone who enjoys breakfast. There is also a 24 hour coffee bar, self serve. Staff is friendly and efficient. Hotel offers just about everything you want or need from a nice gym to a large pool, to a business center for those who need to use a copier or mail something. They also provide a washer and dryer for people on long stay visits. Opryland is across the way within 5 minute and no need to drive, the hotel offers a shuttle to and from. All in all, one of the best hotel experiences we have had.

I was very impressed with this Hampton Inn. The lobby and all common areas looked great, the check in and personnel were very good, the room was nice with sufficient counter space in the bathroom and outside the bathroom, and the shower head ws well over by 6'1" head! It also had a small refrigerator and microwave, a decent size flat screen TV with a good selection of channels and a good AC unit. Bed was average. Only things I would recommend are a light blanket on the beds in the summer to use rather than the heavy comforter, a small lounge chair and a channel lineup placed in the bedside drawer. I unfortunately did not get to try the breakfast.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn while attending a business conference nearby. I took a shuttle each day provided by the hotel. It was timely and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable. I LOVED the pillows on the bed! The complimentary breakfast was WONDERFUL and delivered with "Sunshine," a super nice and friendly staff member who cleared the tables, replinished food, and handed out mints and good wishes for the coming day.

We stopped in Nashville for a few nights and absolutely loved this hotel! We had two rooms, one of which backed to the elevators and we never heard a sound from the halls or elevators. The front desk staff is amazing, very helpful and friendly. Tim even saved a cookie for my daughter because we tended to get there after the cookies were gone in the evening. The shuttle service to the Gaylord was incredibly convenient, breakfast was delicious every day and the rooms were clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a hotel in the opryland area, look no further! This place is fabulous.
