The staff is friendly and they try hard but they show an average knowledge of basic hospitality rules. They tried hard but they almost always felt short. The room was spacious and clean and adequate for business travel. Good size bathroom but rather tiny bath.
The restaurant is just awful - a bellow average coffee shop. Considering that you are in the middle of nowhere and there is no other restaurant in a walking distance, you are out of luck for your breakfast and for lunch (if you are attending a conference.) Even the bar is not adequate - the only good thing you can say is that you will stay sober for ever as they don't have time to serve you.

I thank the guest for their feedback and apologize for the less than aceptable experience in the restaurant/bar area.

The hotel is a convention/business hotel located in a corporate office park. We are several minutes from the airport and seven to eight (7-8) minutes from downtown.

Sincerely,

Jim Morrissey

Very comfortable, the beds were awesome. I like that they have a separate wing for dogs with plenty of walking area. Would love to have explored more of the complex. We would have stayed longer if offered a discount for an extended stay like other Starwood properties.

I thank the guest for their feedback regarding their stay.

We are a pet friendly hotel and one of our advantages is the space outside the hotel to walk a dog. The hotel is situation on 23 acres and there is a lot of grass for dogs!

The campus is gorgeous. The grounds are well kept. My room was on the second floor and was very spacious. Complimentary coffee maker and 1-cup packets were available. Flat screen TV included. Beautiful balcony view of the inner courtyard.

I stayed here compliments of my company Emdeon during my new hire orientation. I would be thrilled to stay here again.

When you approach the Sheraton Music City property driving up McGavock Pike, you enter through what is a planned combined lodging/business park. The grounds are well manicured, and the property well kept, fitting in nicely with the surroundings. Arrival at the desk you are greeted by an attentive, friendly staff. The rooms are well maintained although this is not a NEW property.
The property is not unruly in size, and extends only four floors. Indoor and outdoor pools are available.
As a Platinum SPG member we stay in many Starwood properties. This one is nice and acquits itself quite well.

As for our experience; MISERABLE!! Our early arrival had us looking to check into our room, but our room was not available. We waited several hours, checking at the front desk intermittently. We were waiting for a call; none came. When we returned to the front desk at 1:30, we were told our room had been ready for an hour....hmmmm; #1 issue!
Communicate with your guests!

While checking in, we were told by the front office manager (maybe the property manager was not available) our "Suite Nights" reward could not be honored as there was "A PARTY OF 1400 YOUTHS" checking in....hmmmm; #2 issue!
Alert your guests!

Later that morning I spoke with the properties "Assistant Manager" and discussed the properties ability to manage 1400 kids. He assured me there would be no issues. ....hmmmm; #3 issue!
Recognize the situation!

Our first night was nice; uneventful. We went to dinner in nearby Clarksville with our daughter, returning at about 9:00 PM. Went to bar and had a nightcap. Went to bed and got some well-deserved sleep.....Awoke to a rainy day and off to the mall.

Upon our return, we saw the waves begin to arrive. When the "PARTY" had begun checking in, the escalation began; the issues started there! The "PARTY" began by cheering and shouting from room to room via the courtyard. NOISY

At 9:45 that evening when the "PARTY" returned the party started. Running, shouting, rough housing in the halls went on until approximately 1:30 AM.
NO SLEEP FOR MY WIFE!!

The "PARTY" continued into our last night. The hotel was ill prepared to manage this event. They did not have the staff to maintain a level of comfort for the other guests at the property, and honestly, I do not think they were concerned.

Too many properties today look to fund their property using large events such as the one described here, and make no provisions as to provide a balance of any control for the remainder of the guests at the property.

This was a miserable experience that would be handled no differently at this property. If you plan on going to ANY hotel, ASK if any large groups will be checking in during your window of stay.

When we return to Nashville, we will select a different Starwood property!

Room Tip: Check for the club level. See if any LARGE parties are booked.

I thank the guest for their candid and honest feedback regarding their experience at the hotel.

The hotel did attempt to contact the guest several days prior to arrival to forewarn them of the group in over their same dates of stay, but without success. We did compensate the guest for the suite upgrade with addtional SPG points. In all, the guest experience was less than desireable and I genuinely apologize for this.

Sincerely,

Jim Morrissey

This is a very nice hotel. I had booked a room with two double beds, but got upgraded to club lounge as i am a Gold member. We had a issue with the hot water and after complaining couple of times it got fixed, but the manager also gave us a free Suite upgrade to compensate us for our trouble.
The management, staff and employees all were very nice and considerate and the location is great too, so is the breakfast.

Room Tip: If you can get a room on higher floor will help get a good view.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting Nashville. It's a ten minute drive to town and is easy to find off the highway. We were very happy with the king bed and the room was very clean. The bathroom was a little run down, grout missing from the tiles and broken tiles. As with other sheratons we have stayed in, you can hear the neighbouring rooms toilet flush. Maybe mid week, they should have rooms spaced out. We did have an evening meal at the hotel and were presently surprised, very nice and a good price. I am a tea drinker, there was no lobby tea/coffee option, only from the bar and the WiFi was $9.95 a day, greedy!!!!!!! Good spot for families, pool and gym. Staff very friendly.

Room Tip: Ask for a room looking Into the courtyard, much quieter.

We arrived before Easter for our family getaway to celebrate our daughter's birthday. We got a room upgrade, complimentary breakfast and Internet as SPG members. The breakfast was terrific with lots of fresh fruit.
Great memories!
