“Worth Every Dime!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2014

There is SO much to explore at Cheekwood. The exhibits change often enough that one could never get bored. The grounds are beautiful and unique. The home is a must see and so are the galleries. Cheekwood is located in a goregous part of Nashville which is an added bonus!

“Go early in the day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2014

We visited early in the morning because it was going to be over 100 the day were explored and we picked the perfect time. There were very few other guests around and that was so nice to get to wander at your own pace and not worry about being in someone else's way while they were taking pictures of looking at the beautiful flowers. We weren't really sure about the large insect sculptures, they were unique and interesting but some beautiful art would have been better. We didn't visit the museum but instead drove up there to take pictures. If you have a garden lover in your family, this is a place you truly want to take time to visit.

“A nice walk for Couples”

If you enjoy well maintained Gardens this is a nice visit. Though Children will become easily bored with looking at plants and Bugs they can't climb on.

“graceful and relaxing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2014

Loved the graceful rise and fall of the landscape, but be advised that it can be hard for someone with bad knees. The color garden was spectacular in July, and the insect sculptures were interesting. The art museum was closed when we were there. But they were selling Jeni's ice cream--an expensive treat, but wonderful and unique.

“MEMBER FOR OVER 20 YEARS”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2014

Absolutely worth your time to visit. The flowers are always a treat and the special exhibits are fine. They usually have something to appeal to youngsters. Right now, it is a treehouse and a train. I recommend Cheekwood for couples, families and singles.

One other thing: my granddaughter chose Cheekwood as the location for her senior pictures last fall. The setting is beautiful for photos of people of all ages.

The restaurant, the Pineapple Room, serves delicious food! It is only open for lunch, however, so check the time online and make reservations.

We take out-of-town visitors here for a treat!
