Interesting, nice tour, good food at restaurant. Celebrated my birthday there, and the restaurant gave us a nice dessert.

“Great for history buffs/horse lovers!”
Reviewed May 14, 2012

Very interesting tour for history buffs (especially of antebellum/Civil War America). Our tour guide (Cliff) was funny and did a great job showing us around. The wine tasting was fun as well - husband thinks our person was shorting us on the wine, but we got enough of a taste to purchase two of their wines.

“Excellent”
Reviewed May 14, 2012

My wife and I both loved this plantation. The history of the family and house was incedible. The main pillars of the house actually have musket ball marks from the civil war battle that was fought on the property. The interior was imaculate and tour guide did a great job of bring the house to life with great stories and a wonderful sense of humour.

“Very interesting tour”
Reviewed May 10, 2012

They book tours every hour and take about 10-15 people. The tour guides were very knowledgable and were happy to take questions from the group. It ends at the winery and they have wine tastings available. If you are interested in horses, this would be a great plantation to visit.
