Owner description: The Grand Ole Opry, an American Icon and Nashville's number one attraction, is known for creating one-of-a-kind entertainment experiences for audiences of all ages. It's where unforgettable moments happen every week...moments like the night Trace Adkins revealed a tweet inviting his pal Blake Shelton to become a member of the Opry. With country music's new stars, superstars, and legends live on stage, you never know what'll happen next. See the show that made country music famous.

We visited as part of a bus tour in September 2011. Really enjoyed the show even though there were no big names. Very old theatre but great experience for any country music fan.

We walked through the conservatory and botanical gardens. There was a conference being setup and the place looks refreshed. The hotel is within walking distance of Opry Mills and you can park at the mall for free and walk.

Not what I expected at all but we did hear some good music in some really horrible, uncomfortable seats. Weird tacky atmosphere but something you have to do.

I am a country music fan so this was a pretty big deal for me. Got to see some very big names all in one show. Had the worst seats in the house and they were still amazing. Definitely feel this is a go to spot for anyone who would appreciate a walk down memory lane in the world of country music. Just being there and seeing the wooden circle on center stage was enough for me. Seeing Charlie Daniel's Band perform as a finale was a definite bucket list item.

A visit to Nashville would not be complete without a visit to the Opry. We took the backstage tour in the afternoon and returned for the show that evening, The tour was great. Informative, lively, and fun. The performance was even GREATER! We had wonderful seats, right in the middle. We enjoyed being at a live radio show. Watching the change in "sets" and listening to the commercials, just added to the experience. Performers included The Whites and Jim Ed Brown. What a wonderful evening!!
