Owner description: The Grand Ole Opry, an American Icon and Nashville's number one attraction, is known for creating one-of-a-kind entertainment experiences for audiences of all ages. It's where unforgettable moments happen every week...moments like the night Trace Adkins revealed a tweet inviting his pal Blake Shelton to become a member of the Opry. With country music's new stars, superstars, and legends live on stage, you never know what'll happen next. See the show that made country music famous.

We attended a recent 2 1/2 hour show at the Opry with tickets costing only $35 for balcony seats with clear views - there are also large HD video screens as the balcony is quite high above the stage.
We decided not to do the backstage tour as we were visiting other music sights in Nashville.
However booking was easy at the box office, there is a superb gift shop and the Opry is adjacent to a large and pleasant shopping mall.
As regards the show itself - it was a magical evening, presented in its traditional radio show format and with a large lineup of old, new, traditional and contemporary artists. Sound and acoustics were excellent and there was a terrific atmosphere.
There are signs saying no photography allowed - but this didn't seem to be a problem and many of the audience from downstairs were walking to the stage to take photos. Many of the artists were also happy to pose for photos while on stage.
There is ample free parking and the traffic flow after the show was surprisingly quick.
Any visit to Nashville must include an Opry show - whatever the lineup as it's so varied there will be something to please everyone.

It is so modern when you compare to the ryman. But so vibrant and you just can fell the stars spirit...The dressing rooms are all different and awesome. You can see memorabilia from the serie Nashville. You can go on stage and look at the audeience. You can attend a show and it is so great to live that experience. With a new singer it is history in the making.

We love everything! We had a group of about 250 people and being there with the fun music...the fun crowd...and the energy of the night...it was magical.

The Opry is great and the associates around the Opry outside are fun, they came up to my daughter and made over her. Sat in first row in the balcony and seats were fine. Show is not a concert it is a radio show so don't expect a concert atmosphere. Other than that take it all in it's great!

This is another must do for anyone visiting this area of the US. Each artist sings about 3 songs then the next one takes over. The venue is fantastic. It is big but you do feel close to the entertainers
