“Great for the family”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 28, 2013

We wanted a good location to take our children (ages 10 and 14) on a cold day in Nashville to learn and experience life long ago. The Hermitage is perfect. We enjoyed having headsets for a self guided tour of President Jackson's home and grounds. The tour of the mansion was beautiful. Recommend highly for all families when visiting Nashville.

“Really Great”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 28, 2013

Tour is arranged very well. Having the headphones allows you to move at your own pace. The tour of the home was outstanding and the guides were very well versed. Educational tour and is great for the family. The grounds of the home are very educational for all and information provided is the reality of The Jacksons.

“Really well done”

Really well arranged, well informed museum. Didn't shy away from the reality of what Jackson was really like, his flaws and all.

“Very informative and beautifully presented”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2013

Our recent visit to the Hermitage was outstanding. The combination of a guided tour + an audio tour was well done - allowed an up close and personal tour with guides in the house and a self guided audio tour throughout the grounds giving us the opportunity to move at our own pace without a large crowd. We spent 3 - 4 hours here. Very infromattive about Jackson, his family and the contradictory lives of the enslaved community there. Well worth the price of admission - don't forget to show your AAA card for a discount.
