“Nice place.”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

Worth the cab ride there. Admission covers a 30 minute video and the audio headsets which was nice. There was a 30 minute wait to get inside the house - a little disorganized because you couldn't tour the grounds before entering the house.

“A Must to Visit!”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

Very educational for adults and children. Our granddaughter, 5, learned so much and enjoyed the headphone presentations. We were there for 3 hours, but could have stayed longer, except we had another engagement.

“Nice place to visit.”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

This was an interesting place to visit. What was really enjoyable was the school kids who are brought for the day and act as mini guides. They are posted at the various points of interest on the property and will tell you everything there is to know about their piece of the Hermitage. The grounds are lovely, the furnishings quite unique as they are mostly original..definately a place worth seeing.

“Solid”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

Insightful to see how people lived 175+ years ago and learn much about one of our finer presidents. He was a man of the people, paid his dues militarily and was disliked by the 1%'ers of his time, which earns him my vote.

“Must see near Nashville”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

History Buffs and others will enjoy the Andrew Jackson home and acreage. The museum and headphone presentation are all done well. They even have audio centered for children. The Docents we encountered were top notch! This is a must see when visiting the area.
