“Interesting”

It was a strange sight to see in the middle of an urban park but interesting just the same. We actually didn't even get to see the gallery inside but had a great time taking photos of the outside. Many statues around the area focusing on local history. Maybe this was explained inside the Parthenon but what is it doing there? I mean really neat architecture but why? Most of the statues and building nearby focus on the 1700-1800's. I would recommend if you are in the area but not a special trip.

“A wonderful Greek surprise in Nashville!”
Reviewed October 19, 2007

What a surprise to discover The Parthenon in Nashville. It was everything I had hoped for. A full sized replica, in perfect condition which included a statue of the goddess Athena! How beautiful! This was built over 100 years ago and was recently repaired to pristine condition. The statue of Athena is magnificent. I suggest a visit to this Nashville treasure for anyone who appreciates art and history.

“Worthy of a visit!!”
Reviewed May 29, 2007

The Parthenon is a wonderfully maintained site and certainly worth a visit. The work that was done on restoration of the statue Athena and the building was very well done. The Parthenon is located in centennial park (a Nashville city park) and the park is very well maintained and also an enjoyable place to visit. Go and see it!!

“Awesome Site in Nashville!”
Reviewed May 17, 2007

I was in Nashville in May 2007 visiting relatives on the way to California, and we visited the Parthenon. It was awesome!

The outside is very pretty and clean, and the inside is definitely the best part! The Athena statue is huge (larger than I though it would be!) and very impressive!

It was definitely worth visiting! It's inexpensive (I think it was $5), and it has a nice gift shop by the entrance as well.

“What a site!!”
Reviewed April 8, 2007

I wasn't sure what to expect when we decided to visit the Parthenon. The cost is minimal and has an interesting history. The Athena on the top floor is worth the price of admission. The building is very neat...
