We enjoyed our trip to Nashville. We went to the Parthenon. We did not go inside because it was closed or the evening but it was interesting to see it and take pictures. There were alot of students enjoying the lawn area. Parking was not a problem (on street) While in Nashville we also went to the Upper Room Chapel in Music Row- you must go and see this- absolutely beautiful-there is a giant stained glass window and a very big last supper above the alter area. Also go to Ft. Nashborough near the waterfront in downtown.

This is one of those "have to see it to believe it" places. I still don't understand why this theme was chosen for the Centennial Celebration but it is striking. Having been to the "real" Parthenon in Athens, it was actually more interesting to see how THAT looked when it was actually complete. We've been there twice now - couldn't go inside the first time due to a wedding & the second was on a Sunday - so can't comment on how interesting the museum inside is.

Since I've been to the real parthenon I was interested to see what this exact replica looked like inside. The outside is just like what you would see in Greece minus the wind and crazy incline. The inside is lackluster and doesn't have any of the statues that you ahve in the original. You can just take in the sight from outside and then wander around the park

We found it very interesting and the sights were neat. It doesn't take long to go through, but the history inside is definitely interesting and entertaining. It is affordable at $6 a person, which is also great! Definitely a sight to see when in Nashville, and there is a great park right outside!

You have to visit Parthenon after a few days of visiting downtown of Nashville and all the excitement there. It is very relaxing.
