“History good, Music too loud”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 6, 2013

We love going to the Ryman and seeing the true country music stars, but even they (Connie Smith, Diamond Rio) were too loud for our taste this last time. We could not understand the words to most of the songs because the decibel level was so high the words were distroted. We are going to have to decide if history out-weighs bad sound technicians before we book for next year's visit.

“Love the Ryman!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 6, 2013

I have been twice on the backstage tour and loved it both times! It's definitely worth the extra four dollars to do the back stage tour rather than self guided. I have been to a concert there once and it was absolutely wonderful! If in downtown area it is a MUST see attraction, especially if you have an appreciation for music and history.

“Great venue”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 3, 2013

I haven't been able to tour the Ryman yet, but I've been twice for concerts and it's a great venue. There's not a bad seat in the building and the old pews are beautiful. Some of the seats do have obstructed views, but if you are attending a concert where you'll be standing then you can easily move over a little bit so the poles aren't in the way.
