Loved the video by Trisha Yearwood to start, all the history of this building, the Minnie Pearl tribute, the list of the people who have performed here. Do not miss.

My husband and I toured the Ryman and enjoyed learning about one of country music's gems! We learned about its rich history, including hosting the Grand Ole Opry, and it was very special to stand on the stage that Johnny and June, and so many others performed on! It is a beautiful building and a fun visit.

A very old building which is what made it neat. Big, with an intimate atmosphere. Took the tour, which was great. Tour guide knew everything about history you could possibly want to know. Came back two night's later to see Kris Kristofferson. What a thrill. Kris performed for over 2 hours. Even thought the auditorium was packed, his performance felt like it was a small venue. He was GREAT.

It always makes me cry just to step into this magnificent auditorium! Love going here! We've been to the Grand Ole Opry in the Opryland Drive Building & also back @The Ryman several times. We have NEVER went away disappointed, NEVER! Always have the stars (older & newer) that will appeal to everyone. Mixing the old & new along w/the various genre's of music....this will assure that the history & original purpose of the Opry (started as a church to Glorify God & see souls come to know Him)- assuring that remains, as well as teaches a true appreciation for the many different songs & styles that will talk to each person's heart. Whether that be in the original country bluegrass style, the country gospel songs, the new contemporary songs from Christian to "newer"-country: each of these have their place at the Opry! And the audiences love it that way! AND do NOT miss going on the backstage tours at both of the locations! Awesome! May the Opry live on & thrive as much as it has on every visit we have had there! Always worth the trip from Ohio to Nashville!
