I've seen dozens of musicians and artists perform at the Ryman and I have always thoroughly enjoyed it. The place has a rich history and is absolutely beautiful. The only negative aspect of the Ryman is the interior layout on the bottom floor. There are a series of beams that are used to hold up the balcony. These beams can obstruct the view for some audience members and can spoil a good show. I always make sure that my seats are not behind these beams! Great venue, great bookings, historic and lovely.

This is a must see when in Nashville. Pretty well where every major country and western star got their start. Now an upgraded performance venue for all sorts of music.

We were not able to attend any shows while in town but did the Back Stage tour! Our guide was very, very good and so friendly...she did a great job! It was totally awesome to "walk the path" of all the entertainers that have performed there. A great piece of Nashville history!! Don't miss it!

I attended the IBMA bluegrass awards ceremony and thoroughly enjoyed an evening of music and festivities in a truly historic setting. For us older folks, the Ryman brings back memories of stars and entertainers, in their purest form--our memories. If you ever listened to a radio broadcast of the Grand Old Opry, where visualizing was your only picture, then seeing the stage for the first time floods the mind. A very classic setting and a must-see for your bucket list.
