We had a great tour guide last weekend at Studio B. He had terrific fun facts, was a musician himself and truly appreciated the history and music that came through Studio B. It was a great tour and work the add on price to the Country Music Hall of Fame. You get to see Music Row from the shuttle bus too.

Was great to see where Elvis and a lot of the old performers recorded at that studio. Our guide was great and very informative. Could almost feel the ghosts of past recording sessions.

Did the tour 11 Feb 2013. Couldn't go in the bit with the recording equipment because it was in use. The guide kept is in the entrance area for 20 minutes just playing various tunes, one after the other through an ipod onto the pa system. It was ok for 5 minutes, but after that everyone just kept looking down the corridor wanting to move on.
He then took us into the recording studio with the piano in it where we sat and he played...... yet more tunes. We had to endure song after song of him singing along, dancing, and playing air guitar to all his favourites.
He then got a phone call and said he had another tour and we had to leave immediately. Everyone was scrambling to get a photo at the piano that Elvis used, but he just kept coming back and hurrying us out. We had a total of about 60 seconds for those that could to get a photo.
Very disappointed with the standard of this tour.

This is a small "scruffy " building adorned with pictures of country music stars. so dont expect "gloss". Our visit was enhanced by a very sweet knowledgable young lady who was very informative and interesting to listen to ; she gave us some great music to listen to during her tour.
