Visited Nashville with our children, ages 5 and 12, for spring break. We weren't sure if we wanted to spend the money on going here, because of the ages of the kids. So glad we did!! Both of the children loved it and it is 3 stories filled of music history!! We did spendthe extra and bought the audio tour, which was a waste for us because the kids weren't willing to stop at every display and listen. Overall it was a very wise choice for us to go and we enjoyed it!

My 15 year old daughter and I visited the museum with no real expectations. I have to say that even though we aren't huge fans of early country music (although we are respectful of it), we left the museum with more insight. The only downside we saw was that there really isn't any modern additions since the early 90's. Country music is still shaping and ever-changing and we'd like to see more of that there.

We also toured RCA Studio B and that was something we highly recommend. The energy is rich and it's just something that shouldn't be missed. It also takes you over to "music row" where all of the modern day recording studios are. We would have liked a bit more time to roam about the general area, but didn't get it on the tour. You can always drive over there though.

Bottom line: I think the admission price for the museum and studio tour (we did the platinum) is a bit high, it's worth the experience.

Brilliant place to visit whether you are a country music fan or not. Parking cost $6 for whole day , which meant you could wander around Nashville without moving your car ( close to main street , Summitt Centre and Ryman Auditorium). Exhibits were stunning in museum.

Going to the Country Music Hall of Fame was a fantastic experience. It was really amazing to see all the great stuff preserved here and read some of the stories. I would highly recommend anyone in the area for vacation or whatever to take the time to go here. Very Memorable experience.

Not being a country music fan I was a bit hesitant to spend an afternoon visiting the Country Music Hall of Fame, But was pleasantly surprised that it not only held my interest but was actually very interesting. Three floors of exhibits and displays that everyone can relate to. The costumes of the female singers were particularly cool, also videos and soundtracks. Make sure you leave enough time, at least an afternoon. Great restaurant on the main floor.
