“Look at all those gold records.”
Reviewed November 16, 2012

Three storeys of gold, silver, platinum records spanning an entire city block is just the beginning. Elvis' gold Cadillac, costumes worn by all the greats, kiosks for listening to hit songs, and a library dedicated to the History of Country Music. What more could a musician ask for?

“Worth Visiting”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

Well worth 2-3 hours to visit with another hour for the Studio B tour. Great tribute to the pioneers of country music.

“Must see at least once”
Reviewed November 13, 2012

Our first trip to Nashville so had to see the hall of fame and museum. We only did the tour, didn't do the extra audio part or the studio tour. Boyfriend works at country music station and thought this attraction was ok. We felt it is mostly about "old" country through several decades up until the 80's. The older displays had sometimes walls of one particular performer and then a 5ft x 8ft area of just one outfit and some accessories of anyone that was popular starting in the 80s and later, like Travis Tritt, Randy Travis, etc. It goes into some detail about how they are transferring many records to analog for long-term keeping, and it looks like you can see workers doing this during the week (we went on a Sunday). I would recommend this unless you really don't like country music and have no interest in it.

“Fascinating!”
Reviewed November 13, 2012

This is a lovely museum with excellent exhibits. There was a special exhibit on the influence of Bakersfield, CA on country music - Bakersfield!! Who would have thought? (We are from CA). The other special exhibit on Patsy Cline was fab.
