This place is so peaceful & serene. Love looking at all the sourroundings, & watching the ducks. You can escape into another world here. One of the best free things to do and see in Nashville.

The Parthenon replica was very interesting. I had no idea it was even in Nashville. Really something for you history buffs out there.

Took the bus from Downtown Nashville. The driver was friendly and announced when we got here. Walked in to the park and had a nice view. Walked around the Parthenon and then walked around the lake. It was not crowded. Had kids playing soccer on lawn and others using the picnic tables and people jogging around the lake. Had 2 people who seemed like homeless persons sleeping on 2 of the swings.
Was a pleasant visit away from downtown. Didn't see much flowers as I've seen in other parks worldwide and the lake probably needs cleaning.
Took the bus back and dropped off at the Music City Central and walked back to the Marriott Downtown Nashville Hotel where I was staying.

Very nice. Photo opportunities. There is a museum underneath. At dawn trainers work out their physical endurance.
