“The One Place In Nashville, You'll Want To Dress Up For!!”
Reviewed September 9, 2012

Situated in downtown.. near 2 dozen parking garages.. TPAC brings Broadway to Nashville..
I have seen 3 plays here, since moving here and becoming a permanent resident...

I love getting dressed up in fancy schmancy clothing, throw a fur cape over my shoulders and head down here and feel regal... There aren't many places that dressing up looks good, but this place is elegant.. I'm so happy to see others' dressing up for a night at the theatre... Just like we used to do in NYC..

Dress up, grab some tickets, go to the theatre and enjoy one of the Broadway shows that TPAC brings to it's patrons...

I love that the isles are wide so you don't brush up against the seated people as you pass them. Bathrooms are on every other floor. If you go before intermission, there is no line.
The volunteers that work there are very pleasant.
The place is well tended to.. Nothing looks worn.
Sound is good. Plenty of good seats and the orchestra is right on.....

“From local companies to national touring companies”
Reviewed September 7, 2012

We have seen several productions at the TPAC as they call it here. The ones with the cocktail party in the lobby before and during intermissions are usually funnier. They have a tremendous school outreach program and the seats are comfortable. In Jackson Hall, the largest auditorium, some of the upper seats are a little tough for people afraid of heights, but the view is tremendous. If you go to the opera that has "supertitles" shown above, be sure to sit in a lower seat. Parking is available in the state legislature garage across the street. The second floor lobby looks out on the War Memorial Plaza and up to the State Capitol. Beautiful views. The Tennessee State Museum is in the lowest floor with great exhibits. The theaters have a "student stampede" that allows unsold tickets to be sold at reduced price to students right before the performance. Well worth the money. We have been to some elegant affairs at TPAC and recommend it highly.

“Saw Jim Gaffigan”
Reviewed August 28, 2012

Loved Jim Gaffigan and the theater seemed very nice.
It is in a great location just a short walk from broadway. I will definitely return to the theater whenever they bring in acts as solid as Jim Gaffigan

“The Nutty Professor was a Scream!!”
Reviewed August 23, 2012

The Nutty Professor was a Blast from the Past! One of the best productions we have seen yet (and we've seen dozens and dozens) Can't wait to see your name in lights on Broadway. Can you hear my thunderous applause?

“we saw a wonderful performance!”
Reviewed August 21, 2012

On August 19 we saw the last performance of the new, and hopefully Broadway bound show: The Nutty Professor!
We thought it was terrific! Very professional.
The theater was a great surprise as it was almost perfect.
