A good place to stay for a brief trip. Nothing lavish but not bad. The man at the front desk gave me a price for one night but didn't want to give me the same price for two nights after I said I would keep it for two. I looked at the first room he gave me and decided I would keep it for the weekend so I wanted to change from one bed to two. He wanted to check the room because he thought I had touched something and housekeeping needed to go in. He wanted to charge a $5 fee. Even when I changed from one bed to two he added a $5 fee. Since I was in need and last minute to get a room at a good rate I took it. There was man walking back and forth across the door at 5a.m. talking on the phone loud. There was other noise the next night but in rooms and outside car door slamming over and over again. I have been in up scale hotel rooms where there was noise in rooms and hallways as well. The hotel was in good distance to any type of store, restaurant and less than 10 minutes from Tennessee State Univ. where I needed to be. I would not use the coffee maker it looked dirty. The fridge and microwave worked great. There was a flat screen and got several channels including show time, free internet. Did not see breakfast but didn't need it or look for it. All together the room was alright had everything in it that I needed. Iron, ironing board, no hair dryer. Beds were ok. one bed did need the cover changed. Light fixture in bathroom had what look like dust or mole and made a noise for a while when you turn it on but finally stopped. Oh yeah and the housekeeping leaves an envelope for a tip.

Room Tip: May be quieter on upper floors, I was on 1st floor and the rooms are outdoor rooms.

If you are looking for a fairly clean, not too expensive place to stay one night. This is your place. Not much to talk about but at least it was clean, the bed was comfortable and had fresh linens, the bathroom was clean. Carpet was not very appealing but I always wear flip flops everywhere I go and even shower with them on just in case. The man at the desk was very nice and polite and even gave us very good directions on how to get where we needed to go.

Very clean Motel with helpful staff, not quite as near to the Grand Ole Opry as we thought but overall good value.

Close to the Grand Ole Opry and other things, this Days Inn was fine for what we needed. Seemed clean and safe and we had no problems. Would stay again. There's no a lot of food choices in the surrounding area except fast food and a couple of Chinese places. But we were downtown most of the trip anyway so it was no big deal.
