“Quiet Rooms”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 7, 2012

The room was very clean and comfortable enough for a cheap stay. Not much more than $50 for a night. I had a non-smoking room, and contrary to previous reviews my room did not at all smell like smoke. One thing I liked was that this room had a good fridge/freezer, as well as an iron with ironing board in the room already. Very helpful after my clothes have been crammed into a bag for a few days. The staff was very friendly, however English is not their first language, so that made booking over the phone at the last minute a little tougher than I'd hoped. Probably better to better to reserve online.

Lots of restaurants nearby, both sit-down and fast food, including a Waffle House McDonalds right next door.

One thing I noticed was that the parking lot seemed pretty tight. Definitely not a place for someone pulling a trailer. But it was really easy to have a sight-line to your car.

I'd definitely consider staying here again if I ever find myself in the area.

Room Tip: Book online. They are friendly, but their strong accents make phone reservations a little challengi...

We were in town for five nights for the CMA fest.
Days inn was confidently located with a bus stop right outside that went straight downtown.
The rooms were superbly clean and well stocked with towels and facecloths etc.
The beds were incredibly comfortable as were the pillows. The Internet, t.v and fridge all worked great as did the shower and hair dryer.
Staff were friendly and helpful but perhaps a littl emore knowledge on bus timetables and taxi numbers would have been good, we had to find and ask the housekeeper.
Breakfast is very limited! And very small dining ara in the lobby but waffle house and McDonald's right next door.
Very affordable and comfortable, I would stay again for sure.

Not only is this Days Inn conveniently located, (less than 10 minutes to The Hermitage, Grand Ole Oprey, and downtown Nashville), but the owner was knowledgeable and helpful. He assisted us in getting a Grey Line tour of the city and directed us to a health care professional when I became ill. We stayed 5 days and our non-smoking 2-bed room was updated and spotless and offered extremely comfortable beds and pillows. There was plenty of hot water and the pressure was great. The internet was adequate for our needs and we had no trouble connecting. The only negative I could think of is that the towels are a tad scratchy and the breakfast area is tiny, but this would definitely not prevent us from staying here again. I would definitely recommend it to a friend. When you compare this to other hotels in the area, you get a lot for a little.

Room Tip: Our room was on the second floor which was very quiet. Some of the rooms offer a lovely vieew of th...

Check-in and check-out was quick, good location between airport and downtown Nashville ( both only minutes away), room was clean, had new appliances but the hotel and rooms need updating big time! Don't count on having a good breakfast: coffee, juices, " pecan swirls," and 2 cereals with only whole milk. Good thing Waffle House was next door!

This hotel has a great location but as far is the hotel found it terrible, not only was I double charge for my room ,the hotel itself look like you need is a major fixed up. The breakfast room consisted of 3 tables in a tiny lobby at the front desk area by the front door, so if you have 4 more people in your party you had to eat in your room or so waffle house next door. big church not only state and city tax something called a hotel tax 6 percent, so I ended up paying 20 dollars in taxes. The hotel staff coulda been nicer, spoke clearer english , my car was hit in the parking lot in still waiting for manager to call 4 days later.
Next time of try a different Days Inn I won't be back to this one that's for sure.

The hotel is old but clean. The bathroom had been recently redone but the old (rusty)fixtures had been put back in. The room was a good size but "tired". It was a very good price but I'm not sure I'd stay again. The staff was Indian and I guess my southern drawl was lost on them. We had to try several times to communicate with them. There was also something in the wall that started trying to get out about 1:30 AM and continued until peoplen started getting up at 4. The breakfast was very sparce. Just a few packaged rolls and cerial. I opted for just coffee. When I added creamer to it, the packets had obviously been there a while because the artificial creamer came out in pieces that wouldn't disolve. Can that stuff curdle? I didn't have the guts to try it.
