I was very excited to find a reciprocal Hotel/Resort that I could use during our short stay here in Nashville. We are Hilton Grand Vacation Club Members and this is an RCI member. My primary purpose for coming here was to look at colleges with my son. The room we had was decent. However the location was inside the building next to the tourism trucks ground floor. I got the impression from checking in that if your NOT a MEMBER then they just put you in the worse rooms they have. When I got to our room the gentleman had to call me to let me know he needed to give us the parking passes. He would have come down to us but because we were not members we had to come get them ourselves. Not a problem but the tone was less than welcoming. Also, the phone in the room was so GREASY-- it was GROSS! its an older place and served its purpose but if my son does come here for school we will just stay at a hilton property --even though it wont be threw our grand vacation club. Also, one last point. When the official paper work came in the mail from RCI - apparently it does say that if you stay less than a week the property MAY charge you a 75.00 cleaning Fee - WELL they DO charge the 75.00 Cleaning fee-- which I thought was just another way to stick it to you. Just sharing- as you can tell I was not thrilled to say the least.

Room Tip: See if you can request a room that has an outside entrance and not a stairwell entrance. No view wha...

This is a great place to base your visit to Nashville's Music Scene. It is only minutes away from The Grand Ole Opry and the Opry Mills Mall. Just 20 minutes drive to Music Row. The resort it very well equipped, furnishings are nice. We were in a 3rd floor unit that was accessible by stairs or an elevator. We found the unit was not very sound proof and we could hear the people above us walking around and at times the ceiling fan in the guest building would vibrate even with it not turned on. A few times I was worried it would fall from the ceiling. We has an issue with the toilet and bathroom floor in the guest bedroom and when we called about this and the maintenance came and checked it we were told it was too major a job to fix while the unit was being rented out. The toilet wobbled when in use and the floor felt like you were going to fall through. No effort was made to move us to a new unit. The other issue we had was the so called welcome package which when presented to us was a few brochures of attractions two of which were closed for renovations and a picnic blanket that looked like it came from a Dollar Store. The guest services rep that brought this to our room and gave us his little spiel was very rude when told we were not interested in getting involved in what he referred to a a point system.

We came to Nashville for a nice relaxing weekend. When we got to the room we were hopeful. The room was big and the separate bedroom was nice. However, this is the noisiest place I have ever stayed. I can hear everything in the rooms upstairs and next to us as well as entire conversations outside. Don't plan on sleeping. Our room was near the fire extinguisher closet that was loud as heck. It sounded like we were in a wind tunnel all night. Oh yeah, the safe did not work either.

We used our timeshare points for a last minute family emergency. Staff was gracious.
We had a one bedroom unit on the first floor. Decor was nice, room was modern with all basic necessities.
Only issue was parking, but considering it was a weekend, this is to be expected.

Room Tip: Larger room

we have stayed at this facility for our 3rd time since Chritmas 2012. love the place, the closeness to the Opryland Hotel, the only complaint we have is one building we where on second floor and there was no elevator, and the fact on last trip we were almost hounded to listen to the upgrade sales pitch the morning we are due to catch a flight to NOLA...to me that is not very good business approach. Evony was of great help in giving us travel tips for NOLA due to she lived there so we do appreciate that, but again vaation is vacation and no one should be or fell like they are being pushed to upgrade that weekend...otherwise great place.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom right next to a lock off bedroom. The walls are so thin that you can hear the people next door. Advantage of this place is the grand ol Opry is right down the street, You could walk there if you wanted too. The staff is very pleasant and friendly. Make sure your doors are locked because we had the door closed and Maintenance guy just walked in without knocking on the door

We had a wonderful stay from Nov 9 to 16 at Wyndham. We were a group of 8 adults and had 2 of the two bedroom units. Everything you need is there in your unit. What we liked best is the kitchen facility where we could make breakfast without having to leave the unit. We also cooked a group dinner most evenings we were there. The units are spacious and with the 2 bathrooms there is lots of privacy as well. If there was one thing that could be improved it would be the dryers. They did not do a very good job of drying the clothes. Sometimes we had to reset it for another hour to dry a few items of clothing. This seems like a big waste of energy.
The location of the Wydehem is close to the Opry and great shopping at the Opry Mills. A grocery store is not too far up the road and had excellent prices on what we were looking to buy. We booked a shuttle to take us downtown Nashville to the Ryman and we had dinner at the Wildhorse Salon. All and all it was a great experience and I would not hesitate to stay at this location again.
