The first thing that strikes you about this resort is it is NOT in downtown Nashville. That being said, it is within a 5 minute drive of Opry Mills (a large mall), and near the newer Opry (not the Ryman auditorium). On good traffic days, you can be downtown in under 15 minutes.

The property itself is beautifully landscaped and there are two outdoor heated pools and one indoor pool (which, incidentally, was down for maintenance while we were there this time). The rooms were comfortable and clean. I do echo the other people that the walls are somewhat thin. But, in comparison with Gaylord Opryland (a mile away), this is a much better establishment for vacationers. It lacks large (100+ people) conference rooms, so it maintains a good family-vacation atmosphere, but does not suit business conferences.

The front desk staff were friendly enough. But, as with all Wyndham properties, the sales staff does eventually come around, this time in the form of a 'survey'. We were there on business and they had a hard time understanding that we did not have time for the sales pitch, ahem, 'survey.'

Otherwise, it was a wonderful trip. This is our second visit to this property and, being within 3 hours of home, certainly will not be our last.

April 2012, we stayed 4 nights for our first visit to Nashville. We checked with the resort to find out if our room was ready. It wasn't, so we did some touring. We checked in at published time and what an ordeal! I don't understand why it took so long and you had to use two desk - one for paper work, which they forgot some and had to call us back, and one for the parking pass. Go figure! The place was clean, but by all means, try to get to top floor if noise bothers you. We had security called on us due to noise. We had just returned from the Opry, walked in and changed clothes, started watching TV and the knock at the door came. They asked us to try and walk lightly! We had to laugh. Go enjoy. It's a nice place with limited activities. Very clean.

We are owners of several Wyndham Vacation Resorts and stay at this one in Nashville at least once a year. The location, so close to the music center, plus the excellant suites and amenities bring us back oftern. Highly recommended.

My husband, teen daughter and I stayed at this beautiful resort for the first full week of April. The rooms are very spacious Our 2 bdr came with a fully eqp kitchen, pots pans plates the works, beautiful flat top electric oven, all the immenities of home. You are right around the corner from the Opry and can see the Opryland hotel from your balcony and Opry Mills was just reopened last week from the flood Big and beautiful as ever. Parrking is free and right in front of your unit and the staff is very eager to make sure they help make your stay a comfortable one and help you get tickets to anything that interests you. The lobby has movie rental so if you just want to hang out .We were on the 4th floor very convenient elevator and luggage trolleys for unloading, Also not to far from a Krogers for grocery's to fill your kitchen in your unit. .many bus tours available to pick you up from the hotel for sightseeing tours..there is something for everyone. Would highly recommend this Wyndham to all!

We only stayed here one night as a stopover from Chicago to Florida. The resort is very conveniently located, close to many attractions, as well as the expressway and downtown area. Our one bedroom condo was very clean, updated, and comfortable. I look forward to staying again for a longer period of time. The only negative was that there was quite a long line for check-in and the process took awhile.

This was a beautiful place, with free night time entertainment (singing) 3 or 4 nights. Big spacious rooms with modern furniture (redone after the flood of 2010). I The 2-bedrooms have a jacussi, tub and shower. Buildings are 3 or 4 stories tall, and some of the older ones are getting elevators this year 2011 or next (new ones have it). Biggest problems is the cabinets & china in the kitchen are almost impossible to use, and the upstairs people "bang" on the floor all day. Good thing is that many great tours pick up people at the Visitor Center every day. Three big pools, DVD rentals, big exercise room, free coffee at Visitor Center. $20 (1 person) taxi fare from airport; $50 RT (up to 4 people) downtown Nashville. I think $10 each addtl. person. No restaurant in building or next door; nor grocery store. A few restaurants further down the road (a mile? or so), where Opryland Hotel/music is. More activities open up in March. I would recommend it if there was any way in getting a top floor.

I have been to this resort numerous times in the past few yrs, its a very nice place to stay. However it is missing a few things. Like a fitness room, the one they have is big enough for 5 people and the equipment is outdated. I usually only spend a few nights due to lack of things to do. There are nice resturants close and galord opryland hotel is a big plus and the mall is going to re-open in may some stores are open just not enough. But this resort can be a good getaway just not for a long period of time. Rooms very large and nice going to go back this summer to ride the general jackson dinner boat and check out the mall when it reopens.

Room Tip: get top floor, floors a little thin
