“comfortable and convenient”

Big, nice room with a sofa, free internet, free parking and free breakfast, very friendly employees, conveniently located near music row and lots of restaurants in nashville. The cost is a little higher than I expected a hotel in this town should/would be, but I think I probably had unrealistic expectations. I was actually offered a free room at another hotel but I turned it down because of how nice this hotel was. Excellent place to stay!

The Hampton exceeded our expectations! The suite was HUGE and the rooms were equipped with everything we would need. Even with being on the first floor, the hotel was so quiet and we could not hear any noise from the hallway or breakfast area.
The breakfasts were great, but the staff's southern hospitality was amazing!
The location is perfect and centrally located to all the fun in any direction and the parking is FREE! Would definitely come back!

Room Tip: The suite is ideal for a family with plenty of room!

We had a great experience at this hotel, with the exception of the employee who checked us in. He was rude. Everyone else was super nice, so I am willing to let that go. The location is perfect, so many great places to eat within walking distance. Vanderbilt is within walking distance and it's a short drive downtown to the honky tonks.

The man working in the breakfast area during the mornings was extremely friendly and seems to really enjoy his job. He engaged us in conversation and told us to enjoy our breakfast, so that was really nice. Everyone else we talked to during our stay was also very friendly.

The rooms and hotel are clean and parking is free (which is not the case closer to the downtown area). The breakfast is good, but the space could be bigger as it is really crowded between 9 and 10 am. Hampton Inns beds are also comfy and I always take advantage of the free wifi.

We stayed here to attend a concert in Nashville. The location is absolutely ideal, being centrally located and convenient to Music Row and Vanderbilt University. The room was lovely, breakfast good and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. I plan to stay here again on my next visit to Nashville.

You never realize the importance of good management until you experience the bad. Every aspect of our stay was touched by efficient and professional management (and thankful they were gracious and forgiving as well).
The hotel was fully booked with a swim meet that weekend but we never felt it. Points that were noted:
• Guests were reminded/incentivized to be quiet and respectful.
• The front desk/breakfast was properly staffed for the large crowds at check in and in the morning.
• The parking was managed with passes to ensure the limited space was available for guests.
• Housekeeping was very responsive to requests and rooms cleaned on a timely basis.
The suite itself was spacious with an excellent floor plan for our small family. In addition, the room was cleaned well and stocked with plenty of necessities. We had a full refrigerator, a stove top and dishwasher. They cost more but well worth it.
In summary, I would not hesitate to stay here again in a suite even forgoing the Homewood located across the street. Highly recommend this location!

Room Tip: The suites are great if you have family with you.

Very nice hotel with a discounted Vanderbilt rate. Can easily walk to campus - though they have a shuttle bus if necessary. Room was spotless and smelled great (practically no smell which is rare in hotel rooms) Breakfast was good - with a variety of hot and cold morning foods. Very friendly staff. Walls a bit thin - as we could hear neighbors but overall a great experience and terrific value.

Room Tip: Elevators very slow - we enjoyed taking the stairs.

Stayed here for an appointment at Vanderbilt Hospital so this was also a good place to stay for that reason. You do have to drive a car to the medical center but if you were touring the university you could walk as the university is one block over. I walked to the Vanderbilt bookstore and it took me about 5 minutes to get there from the hotel. I believe the hotel will actually shuttle you to the medical center but not sure about that as I did not use it. There are several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Logan's next door and Chilis across the street for example and others were in walking distance. Standard Hampton Inn breakfast. No signs of wear in the rooms or halls and beds are comfortable. Clean. free parking.
