The Gaylord Orpryland hotel is worth the price. From the beautiful indoor foliage, to the musical fountain and the delicious restaurant options this hotel aims toplease. I could have spent my whole trip jus enjoying what this hotel has to offer.

You need to be fit to stay at this hotel but it was an incredible place to stay - full of greenery, water and light. I must have walked at least 25 miles during a five day stay for a conference. It is vast! On arrival you are supplied with a map so you can get to your room. There are 17 restaurants within the complex, 3 swimming pools and an array of shops. My only criticism would be the temperature in the conference rooms ( quite chilly compared with the rest of the hotel) and the fact that only one restaurant served breakfast.

Very nice property, and you pay for it. very confusing to navigate, but at least the scenery is great to look at while you're lost. rooms are average, but you won't want to spend much time in them. they do need more people working in the shops and restaurants at peak times, as the lines can be extremely long. the rooms are charged at a rate that is probably fair due to the scenery and amenities, but the food and drink is horribly overpriced.

If you're looking for a great vacation, and expect hotel amenities to satisfy you, this place isn't the best way to spend your money. Imagine 1000 people all trying to have breakfast in a walk up coffee shop they call the Cocoa Bean. And it's not only minimal breakfast options, but any other meal. Most hotels include internet service, local phone calls, and shuttle service to a local mall as free services. This place charges an extra $15 per day, and calls it a "Resort Fee.". Not only that, they charge $20 per day to "self park." Understandable in a city with limited parking, but not in a place with acres of parking they own. The Gaylord is fine for business conventions, with it's large halls and ability to cater in-house crowds. But there's no other reason to stay here, with all the other options available to tourists. You can't appreciate all Nashville has to offer, staying at a hotel 10 miles outside the city. The "bling" of an atrium doesn't make up for tired dirty carpeting, small rooms, and inadequate service. Anyone whose been to Vegas will see the difference between resort and hype.

This was the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. It was very large with many wings and floors but was well organized by the staff to assist patrons to find their way around. It was so big that it took several minutes to get from the parking lot to our room. We were met at the front drive up by a valet who helped off-load our luggage and take it to out room. There were so many people checking in that they had 6 lanes for this purpose. Very efficient. In our room there was a greeting message on the phone and at check out there was a final message on our phone telling us how to express check out. Very easy. The atmosphere was beautiful with an in-door atrium setting that was the center of the whole complex. The plants and fountains were what one would expect at a zoo or atrium. There were many vendors in the complex offering all types of service, several eating establishments, bars and shops. Within walking distance of the Grand Old Opry Theater and the large shopping mall attached to this convention area.

This was my first time to Nashville and the Grand Ole Opry, so I wanted to stay at the best hotel. I was not disappointed. The check-in was easy and friendly. We were able to pick up our tickets to the Grand Ole Opry at the concierge desk and were able to purchase upgraded ticket, right there!! That was impressive service.

The walk throught the Atrium to our room on the 3rd floor made us feel that we were on a vacation in the topics with the palm trees, orchids, waterfalls and "dancing water".

We ate at the Japanese restaurant and had one of the best meals we have had at any Japanese restaurant - would highly recommend a visit if you like Japanese food.

Room was quiet and bed very comfortable. Walked to the Grand Ole Opry - only a 10 minute walk so very close.

Parking was an extra $20.00 and there was a $15.00 resort fee added on to the bill as well.

Would recommend staying here for the experience.

Room Tip: Their are a lot of restaurant choices across the street from the hotel, so if you wanted to spend a...

Attended conference here. Rooms are about average. Setting is very nice. Many options for dining. Lots and lots of walking to get from place to place. Most staff were friendly. Food was okay at conference. Didn't get a chance to dine in any of the restaraunts.
