Was there on a Friday night for dinner and meeting friends for drinks. Had the prime rib dinner which was excellent. Service was good for it to be so busy. The band is good but needs to learn a few more up to date songs.

We got here about 9:30 on a Tuesday night after the Grand Ole Opry and before too long it was pretty crowded with others stopping in for a bite to eat afterwards. When we first arrived there were only a few people in there and they seemed to be locals/regulars. I had the catfish sandwich and it was light and tasty - my daughter had the ribs and said they were delicious too. Drinks are reasonable and dinner and 2 drinks came to $28. The entertainer was very good -- he played the guitar too and seemed to know every and all songs. Sounds like he's there quite a bit.

The best catfish! The fish was a nice relief from the highly battered, deep fried fish. It was lightly breaded and surprisingly tasty. The manager was excellent! He went from table to table greeting people and ensuring everything was ok. The waitress was friendly and very attentive. The live music was a treat! A great place to eat in Nashville if you a looking for great food, service and entertainment

The atmosphere is perfect and so is the food. The catfish is excellent and the fried pickles a delight. Our waitress was so personable and friendly. The live music was an added treat.

We went here on Tuesday 19th March. We were surprised at how small this place looked in view of the good reviews on Tripadvisor. However we were welcomed in by the singer and waiting staff. The food was good value and quality (We shared a full rack of ribs) and attentively served. The singer Dan Schafer was clearly an accomplished performer and made all feel welcome. I was concerned that the "Cowboy Bar" look from the outside would mean an unsuitable for family entertainment well not so. This is a friendly, good value, and happy establishment where you could take anyone. No wonder it's so popular.
