Restaurant was quiet, menu very basic, probably a little overpriced, not what we were expecting. The food that came was very tasty and well presented, service staff were friendly. Wine was outstanding.

We should have turned around when we saw the car park was near empty as well as the restaurant at 1.10pm when a number of other restaurants in the area were booked out. Not long after we were seated the restaurant filled with two busloads of tourists

Decor was tired and dated - website says there are winery views - all we could see was the walls when seated. We were seated and given menus with no prices - we had to ask - $35 for just main, $50 for two courses and $60 for three. There were only three entrées - two seafood, I had "salt & pepper" calamari - was calamari with alot of all purpose seasoning coating - could not eat as too salty. Husband can't eat shellfish - he had the stuffed mushroom - was very small

Main was the Prime Aged Charolais Beef cooked on the turning Spit with vegetables, salad and fruit - after fighting our way through the tourists snapping pictures of everything we were greeted by two lumps of meat - they were not spit roasted as this was boarded up. One was supposed to be medium and one well done - I chose medium - was very dry and well cooked vegetables were ok - beans overcooked broccoli undercooked - there was a coleslaw, some lettuce leaves and a bright yellow rice salad

We were left very disappointed at having forked out $50 each for a very poor quality meal

We also did a wine tasting while waiting for entrees - wine was poured into glasses and we were just pointed to the tasting notes which had one line to describe the wine - was not very enticing and hence we brought none

Of the numerous wineries in the Yarra Valley this is the worst we have been to. Recommend you give this one a miss

Went for lunch today, certainly not winery quality! Food was of poor quality, mass produced, microwaved, thrown on the plate, steak certainly not worth the money, tasteless & chewy! Went to a local bowling club last night & had a better meal there at least it was fresh! Even the sticky date pudding was microwaved to death! Place was full of coach parties, service very poor, no smiles, waited ages to be served! Definitely not worth the money even with a voucher deal!! Won't be going back! :(

Its been there for ages but it still offers great wines and food at the restaurant, Friendly service and a reasonable menue range, Decor is dated but that is of little consequence compared to service & meals.
We selected Salt & Pepper Squid & Porkbelly for entrees plus Homemade beef pie & lamb shanks for mains with appropriate wines. The meal was both delicious and filling.
Represented good value for money

Spent Father's day at Fergusson's Winery
Meal consisted 2 courses with main being a beef carvery with baine marie vegies.
I have eaten better at RSLs
Compared to the other wineries in the Yarra Valley the decor is old and tired.
Will never go there again
