This place is booked out most Saturday nights and for good reason, the food is exceptional. Make sure you book in advance. Much attention to detail is made to make a city quality dining experience. They have a great selection of cocktails available (try the burnt orange one!) and a nice wine list. Is an unrushed experience that will definitely get you wanting to come back for another go. Only thing I could fault on was they bought on was they gave us one of orders ( we went tapas style) twice. It was the Mexican millionaire shredded beef which was so awesome we took it anyway! Cosy environment and and great desserts and service. Highly recommended.

I went to this wonderful restaurant with three family members a few nights ago based on the reviews I read. Not disappointed. The staff were very profession able and friendly.

Three Palms was recommended to us by a friend and we have not regretted trying it! The old house has been successfully converted into a restaurant, the rooms don't feel busy, there is nice background music and attentive staff. There is also an open fireplace for the cold winter evenings. As the other reviews have mentioned the menu is tapas style and we selected 5 different dishes as well as a bottle of wine. We were not disappointed, the food tasted amazing, highly recommending the ceveche (tuna).
The staff is constantly re-filling the water glasses and when asked for a glass of red to go with the kangaroo we received more than an average glass of wine.
We advise you make a booking as the restaurant filled up by the time we left. ENJOY!! :)

I cannot disagree more with previous reviewers!, very small servings, a convoluted and confusing menu, expensive and very poor service!
One main course sent back...overlooked, one main course not served..excuse was " I was confused by the menu!" We made polite observations to the waitress who said the owner would be out to see us. he didn't appear until half an hour later by which time we had reached the end of our tethers. I paid the bill and informed the waitress again of our concerns, at which the owner arrived and played the defensive card. Unbelievable I was asked to leave the premises, something which is bound to create a certain level of annoyance in anyone? As locals we want such institutions to thrive but they must some idea of customer service.
My suggestion? Just don't go there until they get their act together.

We had dinner here on Friday night this last weekend and really enjoyed our dining experience.

Three Palms appears to have been a house that has been converted and it had lovely old with new charm. It was recommended to us by our host at our B&B and we can see why. Delicious food and great, friendly service!

We were starving, having missed lunch, so went for an early dinner.
It wasn't too crowded when we arrived but we'd been told that as it was a weekend night reservations are recommended. By the time we left every table was taken (inside and out).

The menu is designed to share and had lots to choose from with a recommendation of 4-6 dishes for two. We went with 5:
- Sesame Soy Calamari on a Vietnamese Carrot Salad (YUM!!)
- Roasted Beetroot Caraway & Goats Cheese Salad
- Confit Duck Salad with Persian Feta and crushed Kipfler
- Chermoula Lamb Skewers on tabouleh and raita (yum!)
- Mole Kangaroo Medallions with Mexican pan bread and guava paste
and were very happy with what we'd chosen and our bellies were happily sated.

The service was great from beginning to end. Prompt, friendly and helpful.

We would definitely dine there again if visiting Sorrento.
