Our family stays at Bilinga Cottages each year. They are lovely quiet cottages, well decked out with the things we need. It is also close to town and the beach. The hosts have been very accommodating to any requests. We would highly recommend Bilinga Cottages and will be going there again this year.

My girlfriends and I have been to Bilinga Cottages for about 5 years, twice a year. Would not stay anywhere else. The fridge always has plenty of food. In the winter the fire is amazing and is always set ready to go when we arrived. We love the location and can walk up to the main street of Sorrento. We have done the ferry trip to Queenscliff many times and is a great day out.
The two cottages provide a lovely private feel with the gardens surrounding them kept beautifully.
Kate and Boyce are great fun and we hope they stay there forever so we can continue to enjoy our stay at Bilinga cottages.

Our first point of contact when we want to have a fabulous weekend away in Sorrento is Bilinga Cottages. As one of the few establishments that allow us to bring fur babies it is a perfect get away. Kate and Boyce have a fantastic setup with clean quality facilities and privacy. The hammock is always the best place to ‘hang’ out with a good book. An easy walk to one the our favourite Italian restaurants – Acquolina and our favourite pizza place – Smokehouse. A great place to park your car and walk. During summer a brief stroll to the pier and beach at sunset is priceless and in winter the cottage is warm and cosy. We always look forward to coming back to Bilinga Cottage, just love it. Recommend it to all our friends.

Room Tip: We have stayed in both cottages - both of them are fantastic.

We appreciated the generous supply of novels, board games, goodies in the refrigerator. We were glad for the electric blankets since it got chilly, though the cottage was warmed by the heating unit, and we could have used the fire place. Our dogs were happily accommodated too. Meeting the owners would have made it more personal, but they were prompt and friendly with their emails and text messages.

We have been regular visitors now for the last few years in the springtime and find it thoroughly enjoyable. After being a little surprised on my first visit that we didn't clap eyes on the owners, I realised that they took the view that they want to disturb their guests as little as possible. That's a different approach to many of our favourite home-away-from home places, but quite valid. Any requests I do make via SMS are responded to quickly.

It is spacious, easy to use and convenient to the places we love around Sorrento. The magpies are very tame, delightful and a real highlight. However, make sure you keep the door close because they're not above flying in and taking tasty tidbits off your table.

Room Tip: Choose between two cottages. We choose Magbird Cottage wherever possible.

Location: Good, close to beaches and not too far from town.
Amenities: Good, very well equipped kitchen. We found most things we needed to prepare simple meal. The place was quite spacious, and can easily accommodate a small family. We found the air-cond was inadequate to cool the entire house, although the ceiling fans in each room did help did help. It's a great idea to have the hammock at the front - we couldn't use it unfortunately, as it happen to be right in the sun.

Overall, the place was good, at a fair price and we had a good time in Sorrento, and wouldn't mind staying their again.

Room Tip: If we have to stay here again, we would prefer the other cottage, as it has under cover carport and...
