Family stayed for 2 night. A lot of room for them to runs and great bouncy castles. Only trouble is you are car dependent, as beach and other attractions are not close by. Good quality apartments with modern furniture. Limited dining options

Stayed: April 2014

We booked two, two bedroom apartments for a holiday with our grown kids and couple of grandchildren. Unfortunately we were in some of the only apartments which could only just glimpse the sea through the trees but we have stayed before and had complete views of the ocean from our windows so hopefully if we go again I will suss that one out. Plenty of activities for us all and the apartments had everything we needed in them to spend 3 days and nights without having to spend a great deal on going out for meals. When we did decide to go out, there were plenty of options both in San Remo and Phillip Island. Plenty of fun and interesting activities on Phillip Island but we probably would have been just as happy to stay at the resort and use the facilities there. Great time had by all!!

Room Tip: If you want a sea view, you will need to ask for one.

My Mother and I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for 2 nights, our room was on the top floor and had a beautiful view. The room was well equipped and would be perfect for a family as it contained a bath, washer/dryer and plenty of equipment to prepare meals. We had dinner at the restaurant and the service and food was great. During our stay we used the pool, spa and sauna. A suggestion would be to have water available for sauna users. All in all a very peaceful relaxing stay and the staff were very friendly.

My husband and I stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment with our daughter and granddaughter. This is our second stay, having previously stayed in a 2bdrm apartment. The apartment was well laid out, spotlessly clean with lovely water views. The apartment had two bathrooms and a functional kitchen with an adjoining balcony. Although the weather was rather cool for December it was still lovely to sit on the balcony overlooking the wetlands in the resort and take in the water views with a glass of red wine. Management had recognised that this was our second stay and left a 'welcome back' card and chocolates in the room for our arrival - nice touch and greatly appreciated. We reported an issue with the television which was attended to promptly by maintenance. The resort is family friendly and our granddaughter enjoyed the inflated jumping pillow and playing in the sand. I can't fault this hotel, it's our first choice when staying in Philip Island and I highly recommend.

Room Tip: The 3 bedroom apartments are more private and quieter than the 2 bedroom apartments - recommend for...

Very noisy on ground floor. Sleep interrupted with doors banging washing machine going toilet flushing or footsteps thundering from the above unit. Make sure your on the top floor or you won't have a restful relaxing stay. Couch was totally unacceptable severe sagging in the middle very uncomfortable. Indoor pool far too much chlorine couldn't even stay indoors to have a look at it. Bed comfortable if you could actually get any sleep. Unit fitted out quite well for a couple. Bench tops were quite dusty. Disappointing as we expected so much more from apparent 4 star???

We stayed for 3 nights in a 1 bedroom apartment. When we booked we asked for an apartment with view to the Sea. We had a brilliant view from the balcony and the apartment was clean and quiet. We did have a dinner on one night at the Restaurant of the Resort and it was absolutely brilliant. The staff where great, answered any questions and they made as very welcome. Pricing is very reasonable also. Would definitely stay there again. It is nice and close to San Remo and of course to Phillip Island.
You can park the car right in front of the apartment which is great for unloading.

Room Tip: Ask for a top floor apartement otherwise you might hear footsteps from above. Each balcony has a BBQ...
