If you like your ports/ muscats etc., then this place is a must visit. There were a few other visitors when we visited, though we did not have to wait long for tastings. The staff were knowledgeable and generous with their portions. Also a very short drive from Rutherglen township.

We stayed at Must Love Dogs B & B that recommended Stanton & Killen Wines as a dog friendly winery as we were travelling with our puppies. Beautiful winery that did welcome our dogs. Hubby bought lots of lovely wine and we will return. Very friendly service and great wine.

I visited here with a friend. I was not a massive fan of the wines here, but it does have a large estate that has a nice aspect.

Hi Kirstie976, thanks for taking the time to review S&K and looking to the positive side of your visit, namely the lovely aspect we have here. When you tasted our wines in 2013, you may have been trying our wines from the cooler, lighter years of 2010-2012. We hope to see you at S&K again in the future as we have the 2013 reds on tasting which are more more traditional in style with big, Rutherglen fruit flavours. We also have some exciting wines in the pipeline from our existing and new plantings of Portuguese grape varieties. All the best, Natasha Killeen.

Wine likes/dislikes are always very personal. My wife and I were not too impressed, compared to some wines from other producers, but that is not to sat you should not visit S and K.

Hey Richard T, I appreciate you taking the time to review S&K. Like my response to Kirstie976 above, I hope to see you at S&K again in the future as we have some really good wine on tasting at the moment including The Prince Reserva 2013 which recently won a gold medal at the Boutique Wine Awards (and was only 0.5 points behind the trophy winning wine). Our new winemaker, Andrew Drumm, is excited about the parcels of fruit that we picked from the 2015 vintage so keep an eye out for those to be released. Cheers, Natasha Killeen.

Stanton and Killeen is somewhere you must visit on your trip to Rutherglen. The winemaker (Simon) was very very helpful and we enjoyed hearing about the different varieties, how they are made and the history. We visited a number of wineries in the area and the experience was excellent at all of them. What I particularly loved about this one was the history, the rustic nature of the place and talking to the person who actually makes the wine. Their fortified are sensational!
