Nice area to walk around. Easy to walk up the stairs to the observation deck. Good view of the harbour and out to the bay.

An enjoyable place to spend an afternoon with the family. Lots of parks, lookouts and eating places around the area. We took a walk along the Queesncliff South Pier and watched some of the big ships come through the heads. A few local kids were jumping into the water from the lower part of the pier, and having a great time.

This was a surprisingly pleasant experience for us in Queenscliff. We were really impressed by the view from the lookout tower. It is well worth climbing the stairs, but there is a lift if you cannot manage it. The 360 degree view is remarkable. And it's free admission! There are lots of little cafes and some shops of interest around the harbour.
