The Queenscliff Inn restaurant is to die for. The young waitress offered excellent service. Overall service was fantastic with really polite, extremely efficient and friendly service. The food was delivered promptly and the food was excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone. The atmosphere was fantastic and included comfortable seating and authentic wood fires . You really do feel like you have travelled back in time. This is a really fun restaurant experience with quality beers including local beers. Place this on your bucket list.

Room Tip: Room are authentic and offer a real historical experience.

this is one of the dining experiences my husband and i have had and believe me we have had plenty. around australia and europe. we went there for the lunch special and it was that delicious we went back again that night for dinner!!!!!!!!!!

the waitress was excellent. very efficient and very friendly (but not in your face). we had stuffed mussels for entree which were the best ones we have ever tasted. my hubbie had the chicken, brie, pumpkin and potato pie for the main while i had the spaghetti in a white wine cream sauce.

both meals were well above our expectations.

that night we had the mussels (yes, we love mussels) cooked in a white wine cream sauce for the entree. it was out of this world, not too liquidy, not too creamy, just right. for the main we both had their fillet of beef with bacon wrapped around it with a red wine jus, potato gratin, carrots etc. my husband ordered his rare and mine was medium rare. just about the first time in 20 years that our meat was cooked to perfection!!!!!!! my compliments to the chef, tres delicious!!!!!!

it was such a lovely experience with the ambience, fabulous waitressing and to die for food that we had to go back on the saturday night. once again exceeded our expectations!!!!!!!! i said to my husband i thought for a moment i was dining in france it was that wonderful!!!!

as molly would say "do yourself a favour" if you are ever in queenscliff you must dine at this lovely establishment!!!!!!

p.s. if you have a look at the very rude negative comments they are from months ago so i would suggest they have hired new staff who are all brilliant, especially the chef. if he doesn't work in a michelin star restaurant and receive a michelin star himself one day i will be very surprised!!!!

Room Tip: we didn't stay there but across the road at the vue grand

A group of eight friends have just spent the weekend at the Queenscliff Inn for the Blues Train Package, that was organised by the lovely Jana, the owner of the Queenscliff Inn.
Jana was really wonderful to deal with regarding this Package deal. The Inn is beautifully clean and very cosy, especially the front lounge room by the fire. The cooked breakfast in the morning didn't disappoint in the lovely old dinning room.
All the staff on the weekend where all wonderful to make our weekend one to happily remember, and would especially like to thank Jana for her special touches, [turning my heater on in the room] and her beautiful hospitallity. Oh and the Blues Train was Fantastic!

Whilst seeking reprive for the dramatically cooling whether, we enjoyed a lingering lunch by the fire in the sitting room. The steak was cooked to perfection and the recommended local wine didn't fail to satisfy. A charming dining experience.

Queenscliff is a beautiful town and the Queenscliff Inn compliments it nicely. It is a beautiful building with lots of character. The rooms were great to stay in. We dined in the restaurant our first day there and went back for most meals because the food was amazing and the service equally as good. The prices are great also. The staff were very attentive to our needs and we can't wait to go back.
