“No dolphins but still great fun”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 17, 2013

We did this trip with some local friends. We had a great time with a friendly, lively crew and some cold but exciting snorkelling. We swam with seals, truly incredible, and a bit scary too -they got close and have big teeth (the seals that is). From the start the crew were helpful in getting us wetsuits and the other kit and with just the right attention to health and safety without being overbearing.

There was a group of teenage students on the trip along with us oldies, but they were great kids and their enjoyment was infectious. One of us tried the hanging off a rope at the side of the boat thing and managed to hold on for at least a millisecond! A crew member jumped in to make sure the soggy person was ok until the boat picked them up. Our two friends jumped in off the roof of the boat at another time, not bad when they are both "concessions".

There were hot drinks and nibbles after each session in the water.

We had a great morning's fun, shame that there were no dolphins around but you can't have everything.

Hi Pomsonwheels. We often get the same feedback from "Concessions" joining a tour with a group of students. Why let the youngsters have all the enjoyment when its so safe and easy and so much fun.
I'll bet you guys were a big inspiration to them as well.
The crew are really good at keeping a well trained but subtle eye on you and are well prepared for the occasional slip up. I'm glad you had so much fun on your tour. Regards Hank.

Have just got back from an afternoon with Rob, Lincoln and Kerry. Had a great time and were very well looked after. I can't praise Lincoln and Kerry enough, they kept an eye on us all in the water and helped us 'oldies' and they kept us topped up with drinks and food on the boat. You were great!

Hi Sidonie. So sorry we could find the dolphins for you on your recent cruise. The weather has been all over the place recently and we wondering if thats having an impact on their movements into the southern end of the bay. Happy to say though that they were sighted today after an extended period without seeing them. We wish we could find them on every cruise but at the same time its great that they are free to move around their ocean and that makes it extra special when the do come to our boat. Thank you for your brief but honest review. Regards Hank

“A very professional tourist operation... with or without a dolphin sighting!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2013

My 13 year old daughter and I had a fantastic time on this tour. The entire team of staff are as warm and welcoming as the hot showers at the end of the day! We loved swimming with the fur seals who were playful and interactive. We enjoyed two great snorkles and a lovely boat tour around the bay which was as informative as it was fun. Although we did not sight any dolphins (this time!) we had a great time looking and also filled in time with some unexpected water sports! Although the bay was quite icy, the diving wetsuits warm up quickly and the hot drinks flow from an enormous comforting kettle once you are back on board. I would have loved to have had an underwater camera or Go-Pro because the water was lovely and clear. If you don't have one I would consider hiring one from the shop before you go. Thanks to all the team for a great experience, we will recommend you to family and friends.

Hello Claire, Thanks for your kind review of your recent tour with us. The water is still quite cold for this time of the year so you and your young daughter did very well. But on the other hand as you say the visibility under the water is still incredibly clear and we are getting some fantastic photos & videos back from the customers hiring our Gopro's. Regards Hank

Jarrod, Mon and Fi where really great instructors! It's cold when you first get in the water but you get over it pretty quickly! Saw a huge pod of dolphins that hung around the boat for a while!
Do this! You won't regret!

Hi JustJulz. Thanks for taking the time to write your review. Our instructors truly are fantastic. And yea it has been a bit cold in the water lately but it'll warm up quickly when the weather settles down. Its part of the adventure and so rewarding when you look back on the experience. Anyway the hot showers back at the harbour are just the best. Regards Hank
