“What a fantastic park”
Reviewed September 19, 2013 via mobile

We stayed in the park for one night whilst we were travelling along the Great Ocean Road and were not disappointed. From booking in with very friendly staff to very clean amenities, great camp kitchen and nice grassed neat sites. Not only is it a very nice park it is central to all the attractions which we were able to do without pulling our van along for the day.
Thank you for a wonderful short stay, will defiantly return and recommend to our caravanning friends.

My family & parents stayed in the new beaut Riverfront cabin in this park & it was lovely!! The kids enjoyed the jumping pillow, hoop, playground & riverfront, & the adults loved the spacious, modern, well-fitted & warm cabin!! Great location for exploring the rugged, beautiful coastline (but not a lot else around - just the very quiet township).

We would certainly recommend Great Ocean Road Tourist Park to all our friends. We were very pleased with the powered site which was flat and grassy, the whole park was very neat and tidy and close to the water, nothing was too much trouble. The amenities block was exceptionally clean and well maintained. This would have to be one of the best caravan parks we have ever stayed at. A credit to the Managers.

This is a great caravan park. That's my judgment and the fact that it won some award or other for the best caravan park in Australia proves that I am right.

I rolled in late in the day after a long drive from Melbourne. Within minutes I was checked in and into my one-bedroom cabin for a planned stay of five nights. (I'm a Great Ocean Road tragic.) The cabin looked like it was brand new. It had everything and everything worked.I noticed later that they have a big refurbishment program going on.

One thing I liked was that all the cabins had plenty of space around them, with an open outlook. I have been in caravan parks where the cabins were cheek by jowel, almost slum like. But not here.

The wi-fi was a bit slow, but that's wi-fi for you. Who needs it anyway?

I was travelling with a group of caravaners, so the 13 of us made much use of the big dining room attached to the camp kitchen for our nightly temperance sessions. The big screen television there meant that the football fanatics could keep up with what was going on in the world.

Being in a cabin meant I had no need of the camp kitchen, but I checked it out and found it seemed to be equipped with everything a casual camper could possibly need. Well, I guess you had to bring your own food, but that would have been all. If you didn't want io cook, the local pub wasjust across the roadt

The Peterborough-Port Campbell-Princetown area is my favourite part of the Great Ocean Road. It's where you find the 12 Apostles, and all those other spectacular coastal features.

It was very cold when we arrived. Yet our one night stay felt so welcoming and warm. The Cabin was so neat and cosy for my family of 5 adults (age 23 to 78 years old) and 11 year old child We will be back!

Loved looking and listening to the birds, with our cabin being so close to the river. Such a lovely spot. Wish we had time to do fishing.

Must compliment the friendly receptionist or was she the manager? Very helpful with guidance on places to go and things to do. The deluxe cabin we stayed had all cooking facilities and cleaning materials. They even provided air freshener ready to use.

A little disadvantage is the size of the cabin : Its just a little small for 6 pax to sit at the tv/dining area. Guess its meant for guests to spend time outdoors with all the chairs and table provided outside. Nevertheless we will be back!

By the way, we were given discounts upon producing receipts from "Seaferries".

This place is great! We were late and the owner was still there waiting for us. (Thank You). He was very helpful told us all about what was around for food and beverages. The cabin was really nice it was clean and had an awesome heater, which at this time of year was fantastic. The beds were comfy and the provided linen was more than sufficient. It is a very good place to stop and recharge.
