Having booked early enough to have an outside table organised for seven people Sat 11th- we arrived to a very wonky table which no staff attempted to rectify. Orders were taken by a very efficient "senior' staff member and specials were announced efficiently by a junior staffer. 3 people ordered caesar salad- possibly the worst Caesars we have ever had- made with iceberg lettuce, a few tiny shards of bacon, tiny bit of parmesan- very disappointing! Expensive lettuce!! The young staff did not appear to care about clearing tables - the seagulls pounced to help themselves scattering food everywhere! Senior staffer remained friendly and efficient and obviously frustrated with attitude of juniors. The site is great but will think twice about having a meal there again!

The 4 of us headed here for breakfast with fond memories of great food and coffees to start the day over many years...whats gone wrong?
None of us were able to finish the breakfasts(not because of quantities) ...simply the cooking was horrible!
Eggs Benedict were a hard boiled version of poached with a canned/bottled sauce (which hadnt been stirred up properly).
Coffees were tasteless but Im told the Earl Grey tea was fine!
A restaurant living off its location!

This truly a great place to begin the day, very laid back staff, yet very efficient, food was a banquet and would satisfy any appetite, the atmsophere overlooking the water is good for the soul and weary traveller it will be one of our regular "Start Your Day Experinces"
