Four friends plus dogs enjoyed a lovely brunch in the sun on the grass outside The Fig. The coffee and tea are good and between us we had a variety of wonderful food. The Chef is just so talented!
We will all return again and highly recommend. The only drawback is when it’s very very busy it can be a bit of a wait for coffee, but that’s the price you pay for good coffee that can only be made one cup at a time and there are 8 people wanting it!!

The meals are reasonably priced and servings are large. We had the steak sandwich with hand cut chips- something you don’t usually get these days. The pasta with prawns and scallops was a specials dish. Cooked with chilli, garlic, ginger and coriander- scallops were large, tender and juicy. The prawns were a bit over cooked but overall a very nice dish.
Definitely worth visiting this local gem!

We were visiting for the Labour day long weekend and chose here for Sunday brunch. As expected it was extremely busy. We were served well eventually. Everyone in our group was mostly satisfied with our food and drinks, but the pancakes were very dry and too much Maple syrup was used. Perhaps a wait on tables system for holiday times would be more advantageous for this business. Great to see it doing so well, but the long queue waiting almost out of the door was a bit a confusing traffic jam. Hardly anyone knew who was next in line and some people were good about this but others were rude and pushed in.

Have been here many times over the years, and this place has seen a few different owners but the quality of food has never disappointed. Had the big brekky with a side of hollandaise sauce and the maple bacon pancakes with a coffee and a hot chocolate. Huge portions of top quality food. Presentation was great, love the plates, and the service was wonderfully friendly. Coffee was ace. Overall.. great value and the best brekky I've had in a long time. Will be back for sure. Thanks.

Please don't use 3 rd rate Homebrand soy milk.....it was terrible...I ended up throwing it out on the way home.
Such a cheap alternative....we r coming back at Easter and will be going elsewhere to get a decent coffee.
Very dissapointing
