Lunch on Sunday with family - adults and kids. Views are of backyard (kitchen garden) and street. Decor is plain.
Meals were good size, flavour and presented well.
We had (many) pork belly mains, terrine/pate starters, seafood linguine, fish, soup of the day, chicken and desserts (sticky date pudding, dessert sharing plate, gelato). Absolutely no complaints about quality of food! The accompaniments were presented well and a few were unusual such as sliced baked apple with the pork. Note:the chicken breast was a roll with moroccan/Harissa stuffing but unusually (in modern Australian cuisine) it came with the skin on!!! Did not eat the skin but it kept moisture and imparted flavour to the chicken.
The entire meal showed excellent attempts by head chef to present different foods in an innovative fashion.
Service was excellent and then it got busy :( but still very attentive service.
