We arrived after the lunch time rush on a cold winters day but were still accommodated. The surrounds were lovely and the blankets provided kept everyone comfortable. The service was excellent, from our waitress to the drink staff and the owner who was cleaning up after we left. The beer selection was choice, the local wine offerings quality and the food, oh my! We had pot pie, the slow roast pork and the lamb. Abundant servings and quick turnaround and so delicious. Not a morsel out of place. I'm going to try to replicate the pickled cabbage with speck, very well done. We didn't like the apple sauce, but that's a personal preference. We couldn't help but indulge in dessert and were not disappointed. The date chocolate and lemon tart showed restraint, good portion size and were made well. We will definitely be back for more.

Cloudehill Gardens is one of the Dandenong's hidden gems and a visit to Seasons caps off any visit. Great food, good selection of local wine and friendly efficient service. We were fortunate to sit on the deck (ask when you book, in the right weather). Each dish was cooked perfectly and the prices were very reasonale considering the quality. This was not our first visit and will not be our last

The beautiful gardens need no accolades, they speak for themselves. Our party of five had wonderful food on Saturday lunchtime. Excellent staff. The menu is not huge but covers all bases. The quality of food is divine and presentation really nice. Our party had (between us): curried pumpkin and coconut soup, smoked trout salad (maybe a tad too much mayo), chicken breast in a creamy sauce (very very tender), smoked salmon pasta, belly pork (allegedly the best crackling ever). You need to book. Followed by a visit round gardens, the man in the nursery taking the payments as sniffy as ever! :)

We had our wedding at Cloudehill recently. The food was great and many compliments were made by our guests - we had the cocktail menu - tiered stands of sandwiches dotted around and hot food served on trays.
We had a bar tab and a wide range of wine and cider were offered. The service was cheerful and efficient.

A few hiccups before the event with communication about the menu and email not working etc but we had faith that on the day all would go well and it did.

It was a cold and wet day so we couldnt use the outside verandah area - but no matter, there is a lovely view of the garden from the restairant and the garden photos still turned out a treat.

We went back last weekend for afternon tea with a few friends who could not make it to the wedding and that was a lovely experience - very English. The Chatter Plattter for 2 we were able to share between 3 and we all had a delicious dessert cake - a great range to choose from..

We are just finishing lunch here & it is worth writing about immediately. The vegetable tart with salad & garlic bread was divine, my husband had the chicken fillet with creamy sauce, again a lovely meal. The meal sizes are perfect for lunchtime. It is the must gorgeous surrounding, with the most beautiful gardens, sitting outside on the deck on this beautiful Melbourne Cup day
