We arrived after the lunch time rush on a cold winters day but were still accommodated. The surrounds were lovely and the blankets provided kept everyone comfortable. The service was excellent, from our waitress to the drink staff and the owner who was cleaning up after we left. The beer selection was choice, the local wine offerings quality and the food, oh my! We had pot pie, the slow roast pork and the lamb. Abundant servings and quick turnaround and so delicious. Not a morsel out of place. I'm going to try to replicate the pickled cabbage with speck, very well done. We didn't like the apple sauce, but that's a personal preference. We couldn't help but indulge in dessert and were not disappointed. The date chocolate and lemon tart showed restraint, good portion size and were made well. We will definitely be back for more.
