This is a great venue on the lake and worth a visit. The staff are friendly and helpful. Like a lot of the other reviews the food is okay. But don’t let this stop a visit.

Undeniably a beautiful venue with great views over the lake, nice range of drinks unfortunately thats where the positives ended! We arrived around 1 on a Wednesday lunch time and the venue was full, however there was only one member of bar staff working who was attempting to make all the drinks and take food orders, she was lovely but a total joke to expect her to manage alone, no sign of support and we stood there a good 10 mins. Ordered food for 4 people, pizzas came out quickly but were certainly disappointing, salami was poor quality and the BBQ chicken pizza was also bland and unappetising. We waited around 15 mins the burgers still did not appear! I went in to chase them up and was told they were on the way( the kitchen tickets are in the restaurant which seemed strange in itself), another 10 mins went by and they finally appeared we were told the plain extra serve of chips that cost $9 would "be there in a couple of minutes"... no apology and again average considering the price and the lack of a side. We left the majority of the pizzas and when the table was cleared the waitress asked why, we explained they weren't enjoyable she offered no apology or offer of replacement. As a group we spent over $150 and left feeling very disappointed, we were due to have a large group gathering at the venue in a couple of weeks time, which we have now altered which is such a shame!
Such a shame as this venue could be amazing, some strong leadership and control required to get some order!

What a fabulous night at Nagambie Brewery. Beautiful venue, great food and entertainment. Staff were fantastic and so friendly. They worked tiresomely to make everything right. Even our family dog was welcome as we couldn't leave him in the caravan. He was made a Brewery pup. Oh and the beer was superb.
Number 1 spot to visit at Nagambie, Victoria

We stopped here for dinner on a Friday night. Beautiful venue and the open display of the distillery is stunning. It was packed inside the venue so opted to sit on the deck (despite it being 40+ degrees, if there had of been fans it would of been lovely) was a little hard to actually find the way out there as there were no signs indicating the way. Menu is simple, very American style where all the side must be ordered separately. Food came fairly quick, was ok, but have had better burgers elsewhere. Everything had a Smokey taste to it, perhaps all cooked on the same grill as the smoked brisket? Plenty to selected from on the drinks menu. View from the deck is lovely and worth the time to sit there.
We also assume that Ma Forbes Kitchen next door is part of this establishment, had breakfast here on the Sunday of our stay. Food was average, one piece of toast is not enough for what you are paying. I asked for a side of salmon and was promptly told by the cook that it is not possible as they will run out on the Benedict option (I was willing to pay for it). Coffee was good, but came out after the food. This is a great location and had a lot of potential, maybe it will.improve in time. We would try it again.

Great view, terrible service. Since when do you pay $18 for a hamburger and get no fries or sides?. The Grand BIg MAC is much better value. Beer is ok. Step it up people.
