Was extremely different experience to that of two years ago...
Friendly staff gone, charged different prices to that on menu compared to till, croissants with meat & cheese left on counter & not in fridge, "special" on board completely different to what was served, things on "special" board not available, non-existent table service !
Would not like to see what it would be like if they are busy !!

We had a great lunch here today, mains were around $15 each.
The salt and pepper squid was served with a rocking chilli relish, my husband loved it. He was warned that it "creeps up on you". I had the Sage butter gnocchi. Terrific flavors, good quantities on the plate.
We had a little look through the viewing window into the heart of the factory where they make the butter, however all was quiet today. There was a great display with lots of information about the equipment and techniques they use to make the butter.
The outdoor deck looked like the perfect place for a drink on a warm day.

Had breakfast here twice recently. Coffee was good, crumpets excellent, homemade, great texture served with jams made on site. Ricotta Pancakes were delicious as was the banana bread.
Their butter is good and was recently described by chef Matt Moran as"the best butter he had ever tasted."
A hint, give the bacon and eggs a miss and go for the home made specialties.

Having read one or two reviews, we very nearly did not come but decided to try the breakfast and we had one of the most wonderful breakfasts ever, the bagel with avocado, tomato relish bacon and rocket is to die for, the bagel soft and the dressing so tasty, the the home made crumpets are to die for, especially with the home made marmalade, would definitely come back.

Breakfast on a Sunday was just ok - but quite slow and expensive. $12 for eggs on toast, $7.5 for juice - and no table service.
The food was acceptable - but was just simple recipe book food with no flare or imagination.
