We love to hear comments like this, and we thank you. We also hope you enjoyed some of the great jazz on offer over the long weekend. It is really becoming a fabulous and busy Mornington Winter Jazz Festival every Queen's Birthday Weekend.

I have been to this Hotel on many occasions and it never fails to impress, ambience, food and service the best in Mornington . I recommend highly large groups , couples, everyone. Old fashioned service never fails. Cosy winter venue too, full of character and Mr Taylor an identity in Mornington .

lovley hotel with lots of character, Food was really good and Service very good.Seems a Busy place for local people having Dinner at the weekends. Staff could take more pride in what they are wearing, the Head waitress. Or the Female who showed us to our table had a Big Hole in her Tights not a Good impression for Guests. The portions are very large so i asked if i could have Half a portion of Paella which was very Nice, was lots of fish. Dont know how big the Large portion wold have been but the Half portion was also Huge.

Thank you for your wonderful comments concerning our food and service. Michele, the lady concerned had a wardrobe malfunction immediately before service and was mortified. She was most embarrassed that you noticed as she attempted to hide the problem throughout the night but it became harder as the night wore on. She thanks you kindly for your observation and had a good giggle that you called her on it. We like the fact that we can't get away with out things being noticed. Stay alert. Thanks again.

The hotel has lots of character and history around it and Main St, Mornington. We were looking for a reasonably priced place to eat and the Grand menu had a wide range of foods at pretty good prices. We had Lamb Shanks & Lambs Fry and both were delicious. The wine list was a bit strange as the regions didn't match the bottles but we had a bottle of angus red which was very nice @ $35 bottle so it wasn't completely overpriced like some other places in a tourist town.
